As Tiafoe battled his compatriot, his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield was going through a crisis in the stands. She revealed her mishap with their hotel room, shedding light on the chaotic scene awaiting the 28-year-old on their return.
“Unfortunately, I forgot to turn off the “Do Not Disturb” sign before leaving the hotel room, so housekeeping isn’t coming. As a result, he will soon realize that there are no clean towels, the bed hasn’t been made, the trash is full, and the glam station is in complete disarray,” she posted.

“I want to thank my team. Man, it’s been it’s been a good year, man. It’s been a good year. Mark Kovacs, Brian, Rob, Walt, and, my amazing girlfriend Ayan. You guys have been great. We’ve been pushing since early the end of last year and we’ve only been going to the moon, as we say. So, let’s just keep going. Let’s enjoy this one, and let’s get ready for SW19 here in a week,” he said.
Despite the milestone victory, Frances Tiafoe and Ayan Broomfield will have little time to celebrate as the American is scheduled to head to Spain for the Mallorca Championships ahead of Wimbledon. Entering the ATP 250 event as the No. 3 seed, Tiafoe will face either Ethan Quinn or Valentin Royer in his opening match, following a first-round bye.
