Iga Świątek, Venus Williams, Zheng Qinwen, Mirra Andreeva, and Eva Lys headline a star-studded field at the Bad Homburg Open, as their preparations for the Wimbledon Championships continue. Ahead of the main draw action at the WTA 500 event, the players took a break from training to unwind and socialize at the glittering players’ party in Germany.

Iga Świątek, Venus Williams, and Others Dazzle at Bad Homburg Open Players’ Party

Entering the Bad Homburg Open as the top seed, Świątek will face either Emma Navarro or Eva Lys in her opening match after a first-round bye. Ahead of her tournament opener, Świątek donned a chic pink ensemble for the players’ party, where she enjoyed the company of former world No. 1 Angelique Kerber.

Zheng Qinwen, who received a wildcard for the WTA 500 event, turned heads in an elegant white dress. The 23-year-old is set to face a qualifier in the first round.

Meanwhile, Lys donned a white dress adorned with vibrant patterns as she posed with her sister ahead of her opening match against Navarro.

Venus Williams kept it effortlessly stylish at the bash, pairing a white top and jeans with a black Lacoste blazer. She awaits a qualifier in the first round. The American has also teamed up with Alexandra Eala for the doubles contest, as she gears up for her highly anticipated doubles campaign with Serena Williams at Wimbledon.

Meanwhile, No. 2 seed Mirra Andreeva showed off her bottle-flipping skills at the party while sporting a white Nike shirt and a matching skirt. The 19-year-old is competing in her first grass-court event of the season after winning her maiden Grand Slam title at the French Open.

Andreeva will square off against the winner of the match between Ekaterina Alexandrova and Ann Li in the second round.

Following her disappointing fourth-round exit in Paris, the Pole will hope to produce a strong campaign at the Bad Homburg Open as she prepares for her much-awaited title defense at Wimbledon. Świątek won her first title at the grass-court Major last year after defeating Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 in the final.
