While Deion Sanders remains fully focused on leading the Colorado Buffaloes, his son, Shedeur Sanders, continues battling for the QB1 job with the Cleveland Browns alongside Deshaun Watson. Even with their respective football commitments, the father-son duo has kept fans entertained throughout the offseason with their ongoing playful exchanges and banter.
Shedeur Sanders Roasts Deion Sanders’ Outfit Before Coach Prime Fires Back
The latest episode on the Well Off Media YouTube channel showed another lighthearted exchange between Coach Prime and Shedeur. The conversation started casually and quickly turned into a humorous debate about fashion, with Shedeur teasing his father’s style while fully aware Deion was nearby listening.
The playful tone escalated when Deion finally walked into the room and physically grabbed his son in a joking manner.
“Why would he do that?” Shedeur asked.
“I hit you with a body blow,” Deion replied. “Bring it down. All right, let’s just get on…”
The discussion then drifted back to fashion, with Shedeur taking aim at his father’s outfit choices, specifically pointing out details like his socks. Deion quickly responded by defending his look and saying that confidence matters more than criticism.
“They are not cool when I do it?” Deion said. “No, it’s cool when I do it.”
As the back-and-forth continued, Shedeur insisted that his father doesn’t always look as “clean” or sharp as he thinks he does. However, Coach Prime dismissed the critique entirely, framing it as a misunderstanding of his personal style and approach to dressing.
“What the f***?” Deion said. “It’s just a casual day. Well, hey, what? I got Prime on the thigh! You want to ask me what I got on the thigh?”
Deion later laid out his broader philosophy on fashion, shifting the conversation from clothing brands or trends to mindset and confidence.

“See, this is what the difference is: your fit makes the dude. I make the fit,” Deion said.
The exchange showed the close bond between father and son, who often come across more like friends when joking.
However, Deion continues to remain a strong advocate for Shedeur’s career development. He has also reportedly pushed for discussions with Browns head coach Todd Monken regarding his son’s future, expressing concern about how Shedeur has been handled within the organization.
After being benched for much of the season before eventually getting an opportunity, Shedeur managed to throw for 1,400 yards and 7 touchdowns in his rookie season, finishing with a 56.7 PFSN NFL QB Impact score.
While some reports indicate that Watson may still be leading the quarterback competition, there is still optimism surrounding Shedeur’s standing. NFL Network insider Cameron Wolfe recently reported that the Browns’ quarterback situation remains “wide open,” saying that sources within the organization have been impressed with Shedeur’s development and believe he is “progressing really well.”
