Basketball power couple Angel Reese and Wendell Carter Jr. have been supportive of each other since confirming their relationship in 2025.
The Atlanta Dream forward has been spotted at Orlando Magic games during the WNBA offseason, inspiring Carter to give an all-out performance in every outing.

Now that Reese is playing in the 2026 WNBA season, it’s Carter’s turn to return the affection. On Saturday, the Orlando center showed full support for his girlfriend by arriving at the Dream’s Commissioner’s Cup game against the Washington Mystics wearing a custom jersey bearing Reese’s name and number.

Carter’s act of love is also being captured on the Atlanta Dream’s Instagram page, which features a short video and a caption that reads: “Look who had a TIME tonight. Make sure y’all peep the jersey details.”
A thrilled Reese reacted to the post and said: “Damn yall got my man on the JUMBOTRONNN🫠😭♥️”

Reese may have been inspired by Carter’s appearance in the game against the Mystics, as the Dream forward delivered another outstanding performance, helping her team secure a 109-77 victory.
She finished with 18 points, 17 rebounds, four steals, and one block in 25 minutes for Atlanta, which bounced back from a loss to the Indiana Fever two days earlier.
The LSU standout shot 4-for-9 from the field and made all 10 of her free throws for the Dream, which improved to 7-3 and 2-1 in the Commissioner’s Cup.
The 6’4″ forward also recorded her fourth straight double-double and her seventh this season.
Her four steals contributed to Atlanta’s 16 steals against the hapless Mystics, whose coach, Sydney Johnson, was ejected and escorted off by police at the 3:52 mark of the third quarter.
Reese has been a vital part of the Dream’s surge up the Eastern Conference leaderboard, averaging 13.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game.
Atlanta hopes to carry its good start into the season as it faces the Chicago Sky on June 9 and the New York Liberty on June 11.
