Celebrity, even without the NFL, is a public-facing endeavor. On top of that, when one of the celebrities involved is one of the most famous people on the planet, even more eyes will look at them. For Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, attending a basketball game became news, and two media members discussed Swift’s reaction to Kelce’s behavior during the game.

Kelce grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, which presumably makes him a Cavaliers fan. He, along with Swift, attended the third game of the series between the Cavs and the New York Knicks, and some of Kelce’s hilarious moments at the game went viral.
Yet another story appeared to be Swift watching Kelce’s fandom on full display. On their “Pro Football Talk” show, Florio and Simms offered their respective takes:
“She knows what she signed up for,” Simms said, referring to Kelce’s faking sleep during a blowout. Before that, Kelce opened a beer and drank it really fast. The practice remains a popular activity at many parties and events. Meanwhile, Swift looked bemused, playfully hiding her face. Florio added historical context.
“You know that a couple has been together a long time when one publicly embarrasses the other one,” Florio said. “And I got the impression that Taylor wasn’t thrilled with Travis chugging a beer on whatever night that was.”
“We see guys chugging beard games all the time, it’s a thing,” Florio added. “We saw Josh Allen do it at a hockey game. We saw Aaron Rodgers try to do it once upon a time across the court from (former Green Bay Packers left tackle) David Bakhtiari.”
Basically, on camera, fans cheer on famous athletes downing beer in rapid order while cheering them on. It has become a must-see event for some in attendance. Simms reiterated that the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter is well aware of who her NFL betrothed is and understands what to expect from her future husband. Although Swift
