Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Świątek Lead French Open Arrivals
With the Italian Open in the books, anticipation is building for the start of the French Open. A number of big names have already landed in Paris and have started their preparations in full steam at Stade Roland Garros.
Sabalenka was seen arriving at Stade Roland Garros on Monday for her first training session ahead of the tournament. In a wholesome moment, the Grand Slam’s organizers surprised the world No. 1 by also having an accreditation made for her dog, Ash.
“Aryna picked up her accreditation and Ash’s,” Roland Garros wrote on X.

After a disappointing third-round exit at the Italian Open, Sabalenka will be determined to return to the top at Roland Garros. The Belarusian made the final last year, where she was beaten by Coco Gauff.
Świątek was also pictured arriving at the stadium after landing in Paris on Sunday. The four-time French Open champion will have her sights set on another deep run at the tournament after finding her form in Rome. She made the semifinals at the Italian Open before losing to eventual champion Elina Svitolina.
After doing a three-peat at the French Open from 2022 to 2024, Świątek fell in the semifinals of the Grand Slam last year.

Anisimova was also pictured getting her preparations for the French Open underway. The American was seen training with compatriot Hailey Baptiste on Monday as she looks to get back on track at Roland Garros. Her clay-court swing has been derailed due to injury, and she hasn’t played on the WTA Tour since the Miami Open in March.
