Travis Hunter entered the NFL with the weight of being a Heisman Trophy winner and one of the most aggressive draft-day trades in recent memory behind him. The Jacksonville Jaguars gave up a haul to move up to the No. 2 pick in the 2025 draft, and while Hunter’s rookie season didn’t go as planned, his life off the field has.
He married his longtime girlfriend, Leanna Lenee, in May 2025 and welcomed a baby boy later. On Mother’s Day, Hunter showed everyone just how much he values his wife and gave her a gift that went viral on social media.
Travis Hunter Surprises His Wife With Customized G-Wagon
Hunter surprised Leanna with a customized pink Mercedes-Benz Brabus G-Wagon. Leanna shared photos alongside the SUV on Instagram with the caption, “For mommy, from daddy.”
The exact price hasn’t been publicly confirmed, but reports place it in the $500,000 range, consistent with NFL news aggregator Dov Kleiman’s post on X.
Glory Colorado noted the vehicle could be worth between $300,000 and $600,000, depending on the level of Brabus customization.

Hunter and Leanna began dating in 2022, got engaged in February 2024, and married in a ceremony in Tennessee, just weeks before the two-way star reported to his first NFL training camp.
Hunter’s first NFL season showed flashes but ended prematurely. He appeared in seven games, catching 28 passes for 298 yards and a touchdown while playing 67% of offensive snaps. According to PFSN’s WR Impact Metric, he posted an impact score of 68.9, ranking 87th at the position.
On defense, he logged 15 tackles and three passes defended while playing 36% of the team’s defensive snaps. Hunter’s best performance came against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7, which was his last game of the season, in which he recorded eight catches for 101 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets.
BE AN NFL GM: PFSN’s Ultimate GM Simulator
The four-year, $46.6 million rookie contract he signed, which included a $30.5 million signing bonus paid entirely up front, reflected the Jaguars’ belief in his ceiling. Head coach Liam Coen, who led Jacksonville from 4-13 to a 13-4 record and an AFC South title in his first season, has a firm belief in Hunter continuing to play both sides of the ball.
A healthy sophomore season under Coen, with quarterback Trevor Lawrence, could maximize Hunter’s potential. Hopefully, he will also be able to contribute on defense.
