The controversy surrounding Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini continues to grow as new details and old clips keep resurfacing online.
After reports recently claimed that Vrabel and Russini had rented a private boat together several years ago, including during a period when Russini was pregnant with her first child, another resurfaced video has started gaining traction across social media.
Old Dianna Russini Clip Resurfaces Online Amid Mike Vrabel Controversy
The alleged affair surfaced in April when Page Six published photos of Vrabel and Russini holding hands at an adults-only resort in Sedona, Arizona. Several reports, including a video of the pair on a boat trip when Russini was pregnant with her first child, have surfaced.
Now, a separate clip involving Russini from a previous appearance with the Barstool Feud crew has gone viral.
During the segment, Russini was asked, “What’s something you close your eyes before doing?”
“When you have sex with your husband or wife,” she responded.
The group laughed off the comment during the segment, and at the time, the moment attracted little attention. However, amid the controversy now dominating social media, the clip has sparked renewed reactions online.
“What the f**k?! This can’t be real,” wrote NFL commentator Jared Stillman.

Even Barstool founder Dave Portnoy was shocked. “What the f**k is this clip!!! I disavow! There is no way this can be real. Can we just play some football! Hut hut! Blue 42! Blue 42!!! Hut! Hut!,” he posted on X.
Russini’s remarks may have gone unnoticed when the episode aired, but now that the alleged affair has become public, some believe those around the situation already knew what was going on between the two.
“Dawg. The Russini files are about to be legendary. Look at this dawg. Then look who is all in the video. Everyone for sure knew what was going on. My god,” wrote former NFL DT Breiden Fehoko.

“It really just gets worse by the hour at this point. I’ve never seen anything like it,” added NFL reporter Nikki Gist.
The impact the alleged relationship has had on the personal lives of Vrabel and Russini goes without saying. Vrabel has been married for nearly three decades, while Russini is married to Kevin Goldschmidt, with whom she has two children.
Off the field, this is something that simply has to be settled between both sides, and that will surely happen in due time. However, this story isn’t going away anytime soon.
“This whole thing reminds me of that very uncomfortable Ali Wong special that was just her insulting her husband and saying how much she wanted to cheat on him for an hour straight (they divorced the next year),” wrote sports commentator Jack Kennedy.

Russini has stepped down from her job at The Athletic amid backlash, while Vrabel, entering his second season as the Patriots’ head coach, attended counseling. He agreed to miss the third day of the 2026 NFL Draft last month, but with more clips and allegations continuing to surface, the controversy remains one of the most talked-about off-field NFL stories of the offseason.
