‘It Really Hasn’t Been Seen’ — Giants OC Matt Nagy Teases Giants’ Radical New Offense

What can we expect from the New York Giants' offense in 2026? OC Matt Nagy is exciting Giants fans by teasing something that's never been seen before.

The 2026 New York Giants are an interesting team to watch, with Super Bowl winners John Harbaugh and Matt Nagy at the helm and calling the shots on offense. In quarterback Jaxson Dart’s second year, the franchise aims to surround him with as much talent as possible, and it’ll be interesting to see the results later this year.

Nagy excited Giants fans on Tuesday by hyping up a new-look offense that “really hasn’t been seen.”

Matt Nagy Teases Giants’ New-Look Offense

Last season marked a transitional phase for the Giants, as the team shifted from veteran Russell Wilson under center to Dart (whose 76.5 PFSN QB Impact score ranked 18th in the league). The backfield also was upgrades with Cam Skattebo, who showed glimpses before getting injured. Now, in Year 2, fans are expecting results, especially with Harbaugh and Nagy running the show.

Nagy, for one, is very excited about New York’s offense for 2026. The offensive coordinator won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs and is looking to capitalize on his championship experience with the new-look Giants.

“I can’t tell you right now exactly what it’s going to look like,” Nagy said. “I can tell you, you know, this will be the first time that, again, that we’re putting this together. To me, as we’re going through this as a staff, I can say it really hasn’t been seen, which is a good thing, I think. What it is exactly, we have an idea, big picture, but what it becomes through these players’ strengths, we’ll have a direction. That’s the exciting part.”

Nagy added that they won’t simply duplicate what worked with the Chiefs or Baltimore Ravens; it’ll be something new altogether.

“This isn’t a pickup and place-down Kansas City or a pickup and place-down Baltimore,” he said. “We’re taking all of these different backgrounds that we have, and we’re going to make it ours. It’s going to be the New York Giants, and how we do things.”

With three Super Bowls and two Coach of the Year awards between them, Harbaugh and Nagy’s project in the Big Apple will be closely watched next season. Harbaugh’s 180-113 record in 18 years with the Ravens makes for a resume that should pair well with Nagy, who got two Super Bowl rings out of Patrick Mahomes.

“I’ve never been an offensive coordinator playcaller,” Nagy added. “Never. I’ve either been a non-playcaller OC or been a head-coach playcaller, but I’ve never been just an offensive coordinator playcaller. That to me was really exciting.”

The front office did a solid job of adding strong pieces to the offense ahead of the draft. Former Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely, who played under Harbaugh for the last four years, joined the fold in a sweep of additions that also included former Atlanta Falcons wideout Darnell Mooney.
