Donald Trump Claims Wayne Gretzky And His Wife Are Itching To Catch Melania Trump Documentary

The President of the United States has shared that Wayne Gretzky and his wife are reportedly interested in acquiring tickets to Melania Trump's documentary.

The Melania Documentary is all set to release on January 30 and will also premiere at the Trump Kennedy Center. And among the prospective audience, one can expect hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and his wife, Janet Jones, to be in attendance.

Donald Trump Names Wayne Gretzky and His Wife as Likely Audience For Melania Documentary

Wayne Gretzky and the President of the United States have bonded over a controversial friendship that has drawn attention and varying amounts of criticism from several quarters. Greztky’s image as a Canadian hero has repeatedly taken a hit because of the hockey icon’s close association with Trump.

Now, the President of the United States has brought Gretzky back into the spotlight, saying that the NHL legend and his wife are dying to watch Melania Trump’s upcoming documentary.

Trump heaped praise on the First Lady’s movie and also praised her book. “I’ve seen pieces of it, it’s incredible, I tell you. She did a book, and the book was a big number one bestseller, and this is a movie, and it seems to be captivating a lot of people’s attention,” Trump shared.

The President further added that tickets to the movie will be difficult to obtain and that many people want them, including Gretzky and his wife. “It’s going to be doing the premiere at the Trump Kennedy Center. Very exciting. It’s a very hard ticket. Everybody, Wayne Gretzky and his wife, Janet, beautiful wife, great wife…everybody wants tickets,” Trump concluded.

Of course, this development comes after a couple of significant events, political and otherwise, that have not sat well with many, especially the many Canadians who had placed Gretzky in the highest seat of honor.

Gretzky’s close association with Trump has been roundly criticised, especially after the United States President’s several anti-Canada moves, including referring to former Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau as “Governor Trudeau” and diminishing Canada by calling it the “51st state.”

Gretzky’s actions during the 4 Nations Face-Off final in Boston were perhaps the most significant blow for many Canadians who live and breathe the sport. The NHL legend ruffled more than a few feathers by failing to rep Canada’s colors, instead choosing a navy suit for the occasion.

He also gave the thumbs-up to US players, something that *really* did not go down well.
