Is Davante Adams Injured? A Look at the Rams Star’s Injury Status After Slow Start vs. Bears

Davante Adams is off to a slow start against the Chicago Bears in the Divisional Round. Here's the latest update on the Rams star's status.

The Los Angeles Rams want their revenge on the Seattle Seahawks, but if they want it, they’ll have to take down the resilient Chicago Bears first.

The Bears don’t go down easily to any team, and the Wild Card round was a prime example. Today, they’ve already responded to early adversity. The Rams are going to have to find new answers, and a good start would be getting All-Pro WR Davante Adams the ball, who hasn’t made an impact yet.

Davante Adams’ Slow Start

Adams has been shut out in the first half of this Divisional Round matchup. He hasn’t been targeted so far, and the Rams offense hasn’t quite looked like the well-oiled machine that it’s been throughout the season.

To win in the playoffs, playmakers have to make plays. The Rams made it a priority to add Adams in the offseason to pair with Puka Nacua. Now, it’s time to give him the ball and let him make plays. Let Adams show why he’s one of the best at his position.

Adams and Nacua are one of the best receiving duos in the league. Nacua draws a lot of attention, so it’s time for the veteran to make big plays. Adams is no stranger to being a difference maker, but is still searching for his first Super Bowl. He’ll need to get going if he wants to keep these aspirations alive.

Adams may rank just 52nd in PFSN’s WR Impact Metric, but his pedigree makes him a much bigger threat. In the red zone, there are very few players who are more impactful than Adams. Despite only playing in 14 games and having under 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since 2019, he racked up 14 touchdowns in 2025.

Matthew Stafford is likely going to be the NFL MVP. He’s been playing some of the best football of his career despite getting older and having few seasons left. The Rams are doing everything to maximize their chances during this window and are only a few games away from fulfilling their goal.

But each game is proving a tougher task. The Bears are giving the Rams problems on defense and are getting to Stafford with pressure. Someone is going to have to step up, and it’s going to be on the veterans to turn the tide. Stafford and Adams will have to use their playoff experience to take control of the game if they want to make this easier on themselves.
