Perhaps no quarterback improved his draft stock in the 2025 college football season more than Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore. A backup last season and a disappointing starter as a freshman in 2023 for UCLA, Moore showed every ounce of the five-star potential he showed coming out of high school.
These are five teams that make sense as the best landing spots for Oregon’s breakout quarterback, ranked in order of how often he gets picked by each team in the PFSN NFL Mock Draft Simulator.
New York Jets
With the end of the regular season, the New York Jets have the No. 2 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. It feels like a foregone conclusion that they’ll take a quarterback with that selection, seeing as though they averaged just 140.3 passing yards per game between three separate starting quarterbacks over the course of the year.
Justin Fields didn’t live up to the contract the Jets signed him to, Tyrod Taylor’s best days are behind him, and while there’s hope Brady Cook could be a solid backup, it’s clear he’s nowhere in the conversation of being an NFL starter. As the consensus QB2 in the draft class and as a surefire first-round pick, Moore projects as an easy fit here.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after a brutal 3-14 season. Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza appears to be the consensus pick to land at that selection, but there’s always an outside chance the Raiders choose to go with Moore instead.
When comparing the two prospects, Mendoza is more consistent in terms of his pocket presence, pre-snap processing, and mechanics. That said, Moore has more elasticity in his arm and is the superior athlete, which some could argue gives him a higher ceiling at the NFL level. Don’t rule out Moore as an option for Las Vegas just yet.
Arizona Cardinals
The Kyler Murray era appears to be coming to an end after seven seasons, as the Arizona Cardinals benched the two-time Pro Bowler in favor of Jacoby Brissett. They’ll surely look to move Murray this offseason, leaving Brissett as a good enough stopgap starting option. Given that he’s 33 years old, though, he should hardly be looked at as a long-term starter.
The Cardinals currently have the No. 3 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. In order to acquire Moore, it could take some maneuvering into one of the two spots, and given the fact that both teams need quarterbacks, it feels unlikely they will move off of those picks. Arizona’s best bet to draft him is to overpay for a top-two pick or hope that one of them falls in love with Alabama’s Ty Simpson.
Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford finished the regular season sixth in PFSN’s QB Impact, and he led the NFL in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. The Los Angeles Rams have one of the best quarterbacks in the game on their roster, but he also turns 38 years old in February. Odds are he’s in the twilight of his career, no matter how good he is.
With two first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, this could be the Rams’ best chance to make a big splash to draft Stafford’s successor. Moore is effectively only a one-year starter, and he still shows lapses of judgment on tape. Sitting under Stafford in a system run by Sean McVay should be every young quarterback’s dream, and Los Angeles theoretically has the draft capital to trade up for him.
Cleveland Browns
There’s no guarantee the Cleveland Browns will draft a quarterback early this year. They went a respectable 3-4 in the seven games Shedeur Sanders started this season. Though the Browns’ offense is hardly loaded, he didn’t necessarily light the world on fire in those starts. Considering he was only a fifth-round pick, they might not feel inclined to deem him their franchise quarterback if they feel they have the opportunity to upgrade.
However, like the Rams, the Browns also have two first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, and their No. 6 pick isn’t as large a fall for a team picking with a top-two selection as Los Angeles’ No. 13 pick, which they got from the Atlanta Falcons.
It’s not super likely, but it’s not impossible, either.
