After earning a massive incentive in Week 16, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne enters Week 18 with another opportunity, this time with an even bigger bonus on the line. Let’s take a look at what the 49ers WR needs to do against the Seattle Seahawks to earn a $750,000 incentive.
Kendrick Bourne Prepares for Week 18 Clash vs Seahawks
The 49ers’ campaign has been quite enjoyable this season. Despite suffering several injuries across the roster, they remain strong in the race to win the NFC West.
Their offense, which ranks second on PFSN’s Offense Impact Metric, has dominated throughout the year, and one of the reasons behind that success has been Bourne, who has emerged as a trusted offensive weapon.
The 30-year-old receiver has recorded 551 yards on 37 receptions so far this season. He was signed to a modest one-year deal worth just $1.765 million, but the contract includes several performance-based incentives.
One of those incentives required him to cross the 500-yard mark to earn an extra $500,000, something he accomplished against the Indianapolis Colts around two Weeks ago.
Bourne entered that matchup with 499 receiving yards on 33 receptions. He reached the milestone in the first half as the 49ers jumped out to an early 24–17 lead, adding two receptions for 25 yards. Not only did that performance secure him a lucrative payday, but it also helped the team earn an 18–16 win.
However, the incentives don’t stop there. Bourne added another 25 yards in the 42–38 win over the Chicago Bears last week, pushing his total to 551 yards. That leaves him just 49 yards shy of his next incentive mark at 600 yards. If he reaches that number, he will earn an additional $250,000, bringing his total to $ 750,000.

As he prepares to face the division-rival Seahawks on Saturday night, Bourne will have a strong chance to cash in again. If he also manages to record eight more receptions, he would reach the 45-catch threshold, triggering another $500,000 incentive.
Reaching those numbers won’t be easy, but if Bourne pulls it off, it would not only benefit him financially but could also help the 49ers secure a crucial victory and potentially take control of the NFC West.
While San Francisco has already clinched a playoff spot, winning the division and earning the No. 1 seed would provide additional advantages. According to PFSN’s NFL Playoff Predictor, the 49ers currently have a 46.70% chance to win the NFC West and secure the top seed.
