Broncos 7-Round Mock Draft: All-American CB Added To Replace Riley Moss

The Denver Broncos' latest mock draft for 2026 includes an out on cornerback Riley Moss, who has been streaky this season.

You add your needs through free agency and draft the best player available during the NFL Draft. For the Denver Broncos, the roster doesn’t have many glaring needs. So, free agency can go a lot of ways — muddying the Broncos’ draft outlook. With that in mind, here’s our latest Denver mock with one week left in the regular season.

Keith Abney II, CB, Arizona State

Round 1, Pick 31

The Broncos’ starting cornerbacks in nickel defense next season have the potential to look drastically different than this season. Rookie CB Jahdae Barron, No. 116 in PFSN’s CB Impact Score, looks poised to take over for nickel cornerback Ja’Quan McMillian — while Keith Abney II is an upgrade over fellow cornerback Riley Moss, No. 25 in PFSN’s CB Impact Score, who is entering the last year of his rookie contract.

Denver gets out in front of Moss’ potential departure a year early with the pick. Like with Barron, Abney II’s range of outcomes as a rookie includes playing sparingly or every down — if everything breaks right for the rookie.

Emmett Johnson, RB, Nebraska

Round 2, Pick 63

The Broncos have to replace running back J.K. Dobbins. He was a two-down grinder with 772 yards, four touchdowns, and a five yards per carry clip on 153 carries. Enter Emmett Johnson, and his 95.9 RB Impact Score. He rushed for 1,451 yards and 12 touchdowns on 251 rushing attempts. And in the passing game, Johnson added 46 receptions on 54 targets for 370 yards and three touchdowns as well.

Darrell Jackson Jr., DT, Florida State

Round 3, Pick 95

Darrell Jackson Jr. can replace John Franklin-Myers’ roster spot as the last starter-round pick. The former totals a 76.5 DT Impact Score. On 504 defensive snaps (64%), Jackson Jr. totaled 45 total tackles, a sack, a QB hit, and a tackle for loss. He’s a situational interior defensive lineman for the Broncos.

Max Klare, TE, Ohio State

Round 3, Pick 95

Max Klare is a flier at tight end at the beginning of the fourth round. He totals an 80 TE Impact Score as well. Klare, meanwhile, recorded 43 receptions on 54 targets for 448 yards and two touchdowns this past season. With fellow TEs Marcedes Lewis and Nate Adkins not likely back in 2026, Klare is needed for depth at the position behind Evan Engram.

Josh Cameron, WR, Baylor

Round 4, Pick 131

Josh Cameron — and his 79.2 WR Impact Score — is a depth WR behind Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims Jr., and Pat Bryant. The Broncos, though, will most likely make a move at WR before the NFL Draft via free agency or trade. Cameron, meanwhile, totaled 69 receptions on 102 targets for 872 yards and nine touchdowns (72.67 yards per game). He may be able to compete with Franklin for playing time in the slot.

Bud Clark, S, TCU

Round 5, Pick 171

Bud Clark, and his 87.7 CB Impact Score, will replace impending free agent P.J. Locke at safety. The former is simply a depth piece this late in the draft. Clark, meanwhile, totaled four interceptions and four pass breakups this past season.

McKale Boley, OT, Virginia

Round 7, Pick 245

McKale Boley is a swing tackle who’ll compete for a practice squad slot. On 753 offensive snaps, he totaled a 66 pass blocking score and a 37.7 run blocking score, respectively. So, Boley will have to improve in the run game to make the Broncos’ practice squad in 2026.

Wesley Williams, EDGE, Duke

Round 7, Pick 253

Wesley Williams is a developmental EDGE that’ll compete for a practice squad slot as well. On 582 defensive snaps (67%), Williams totaled 41 total tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, and 14 QB hits. He has the potential to keep developing on the practice squad if he earns a slot.

Daylen Everette, CB, Georgia

Round 7, Pick 254

Daylen Everette rounds out the Broncos’ draft picks. He and the other seventh-round picks will have to pull a Terrell Davis to make the 53-man roster before the 2026 regular season.
