Eugenie Bouchard Celebrates Christmas With Her Family

Bouchard, who turned professional in 2009, announced her retirement from tennis in July 2025. She concluded her career after participating in the 2025 Canadian Open, where she won her first-round match against Emiliana Arango but lost to Belinda Bencic in the second round.

Following her retirement, Bouchard attended the 2025 Laver Cup, went to a New York Mets game, enjoyed a yacht party in Miami, and vacationed in the British Virgin Islands with her brother, William, among other activities.

The former World No. 5 recently took to social media to share a series of pictures of herself dressed in an off-white, high-neck midi dress while celebrating Christmas Eve with her family. She posted photos with her brother, William, and other family members, including moments of them opening presents, as well as a video of their dinner together.

“Starting the celebrations 🎄 ❤️,” Bouchard captioned her Instagram post.

Eugenie Bouchard to Next Compete at Pickleball Slam 4

Looking ahead, Bouchard will next participate in the Pickleball Slam 4, teaming up with the World No. 1 pickleball player, Anna Leigh Waters. This will mark Bouchard’s second appearance at the event; her first was in 2025 when she partnered with Andy Roddick.

The Pickleball Slam 4 is scheduled to take place on April 15, 2026, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The tournament will feature a $1 million prize purse and will be broadcast live on ESPN. Alongside Bouchard and Waters, three-time defending champion and tennis legend Andre Agassi will also compete, along with James Blake.

Speaking about playing pickleball after retiring from tennis, Bouchard said: “Signing on to play in the PPA almost two years ago, I went from a full-time (pro) tennis player, to a part-time tennis player, on to pickleball in a way that was just a nice transition. It made the transition easy for me. It’s nice to get to travel, still have a job that requires me to be physically in shape.”

In the first edition of the Pickleball Slam, Agassi won the title alongside Roddick. He then went on to win the title in the following two years as well, while partnering with his wife, Steffi Graf.
