Life After Tennis Opens a New Chapter for Eugenie Bouchard

After nearly two decades on the professional tour, the Canadian officially stepped away from competitive tennis a few months back. Her career included a breakout run to the Wimbledon final and a stretch as one of the most recognizable figures in Canadian women’s tennis.

Retirement has opened the door to a different pace, and Bouchard has been candid about embracing experiences that were often squeezed between tournaments, training blocks, and long travel weeks during her playing days.

This particular escape has been centered around the Rosewood Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda, an eco-luxury resort known for its secluded beaches and natural setting. In the photos she shared on Instagram, Bouchard appeared fully at ease.

The photos she shared captured a wide range of moments, including casual tennis rallies played more for fun than fitness, evenings spent dancing with friends, scenic views from around the islands, and relaxed meals that showcased local flavors. Bouchard shared the collection of vacation photos, posting them with the caption, “no schedule these days.”

The post comes as Bouchard settles further into her post-competition phase, which began after her appearance at the 2025 Canadian Open in Montreal.

That event effectively wrapped up a brief 2025 season, which also included stops at the Hall of Fame Open and the Citi Open in Washington, D.C.

There, she opened with a first-round win over Emiliana Arango before being eliminated by Belinda Bencic in the second round.

How Did Bouchard End Up With a Bloody Cut During Vacation?

Bouchard recently shared a less glamorous moment from her tropical getaway, revealing a minor but unsettling accident while kayaking in the British Virgin Islands.
