Aces Star A’ja Wilson Reveals Her ‘Dream’ Life With Boyfriend Bam Adebayo

A’ja Wilson has opened up about her dream future with Bam Adebayo in a heartfelt new interview. Read to know more.

Just two months ago, the Las Vegas Aces made history by winning their third WNBA championship. Leading the charge was their superstar cornerstone, A’ja Wilson. She dominated the postseason with an incredible 26.8 points per game and guided the Aces to glory.

That run helped her earn the title of TIME magazine’s Athlete of the Year (2025). Now, in a new interview with TIME, Wilson has opened up about her personal life and revealed that her “dream” future centers on her boyfriend, Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo.

A’ja Wilson Sees Her Future With Bam Adebayo

In a recent interview with TIME, Wilson revealed a deeply personal dream. She shared that her greatest hope for the future is to have children with Adebayo, whom she lovingly described as her life partner.

“That is always a dream. This is my life partner. Honestly, what on earth was my world before you? That’s how much he’s impacted my life,” said Wilson during the interview.

If we see it, it’s very easy to understand why Wilson sees Adebayo as the person she wants to build her life with. Over the years, Adebayo has celebrated her greatness again and again, always choosing to uplift her achievements instead of stepping into the spotlight himself.

One of the most touching examples happened a few months ago when Wilson earned her fourth WNBA MVP Award. Adebayo had the honor of presenting the trophy to her alongside Commissioner Cathy Engelbert. But the moment that truly spoke volumes came right after.

As soon as Wilson received the trophy, Adebayo quietly shifted to the side and made sure all the attention stayed on her. It was simple and incredibly powerful, which was a sign of genuine love and respect.

Their bond became even more visible after the Aces’ 97–86 win over the Phoenix Mercury in Game 4. As the arena exploded with cheers, Wilson walked straight toward Adebayo. When she reached him, the two hugged tightly. Wilson was so full of emotion that she broke into tears in his arms before laughing and breaking into a fun, celebratory little dance.

“That’s the thing about shared success. You’re blessed to see somebody have that much success, somebody who they compare to Bill Russell, and you talk about how much greatness that they have,” said Adebayo regarding Wilson during an interview.

Now that the 2025 WNBA season is over, the spotlight is back on Adebayo. He is averaging 19.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 47.8% from the field. As he pushes through another tough NBA season, Wilson is now the one cheering him on, supporting him the same way he has supported her time and time again.
