American tennis legend Chris Evert has established a strong presence on social media, regularly offering fans a glimpse into her personal life. Most recently, the 18-time Grand Slam champion showcased the adorable side of her grandson, Hayden Mill, who was intently absorbed in content on a phone.

Chris Evert Showcases Little Grandson Hayden’s Cute Antics
Evert retired in 1989 after compiling an extraordinary tally of 154 singles and 18 doubles titles. The American great signed off with 21 Grand Slam titles to her name, 18 of them in singles. She also became the world No. 1-ranked singles player for a total of 260 weeks and finished the year as the year-end No. 1 singles player seven times.
Married three times over the course of her life, Evert shares her three sons — Alexander, Nicholas, and Colton Jack Mill — with her second husband, former Olympic skier Andy Mill. The 70-year-old entered a new chapter in May 2024 when her son, Nicholas, and his wife, Rebecca, welcomed their son, Hayden James Mill. Since then, the tennis great has regularly taken to social media to share glimpses of her family life, with her young grandson often taking center stage.
Once again, young Hayden took center stage as Evert proudly showcased his adorable antics on Instagram. The tennis icon recently shared a photo of the 1-year-old lying on the floor, completely engrossed in a video of his choice on a phone.
“This little boy stole my heart a year and a half ago,” Evert captioned the post.

Back in April, Evert delighted fans by posting a video of Hayden sitting in his stroller and happily repeating the word “dada.” The former world No. 1 marked the moment as a special milestone in her caption, revealing that it was the first time he had said “dada” after spending the previous three months saying “mama.”

Speaking to We Are Tennis earlier this year, Evert admitted that she once believed nothing could rival the joy of being a mother, not even becoming a grandmother.

“Yeah, I love my boys. I love my boys. Yeah, that’s been the highlight of my life, yeah. I’m a grandmother now. My grandchild Hayden is, wow, again, I never, everyone kept saying, ‘Wait until you have a grandchild.’ I thought nothing can top having a child,” Evert said.
However, Hayden’s arrival completely reshaped her perspective, as she came to realize just how special and fulfilling it is to be a grandmother.
“But having a grandchild is double the fun, because you’re also seeing your son being a father. Your child has become a father. Then I have this little grandson. It’s wonderful. I will be, for sure, a fun grandmother. I will right around as long as I can,” she added.
Evert’s deep affection for her family is frequently on display across social media. Earlier this month, she shared her joy over a heartwarming moment between her son, Nicholas, and her grandson, Hayden, during a beach outing.
