Stop the count. The Denver Broncos‘ final injury report for Week 13 is in. Of course, cornerback Pat Surtain II is returning to the starting lineup this week. But EDGE Jonah Elliss, who was questionable, was downgraded to out on Saturday. Let’s see who else is in and out for the Broncos this week.
Pat Surtain II
Surtain II, No. 4 in PFSN’s CB Impact Score, is back. Broncos’ defensive coordinator Vance Joseph can cat-and-mouse game with Cover 1, Cover 3, and Cover 6, most notably. That said, the Broncos’ blitz rate is going to balloon as well. Because of Surtain II, Joseph can send five or more pass rushers. Basically, Joseph can do whatever he wants with Surtain II back. The former has the entire playbook back at his disposal.
Jonah Elliss
Elliss, who was questionable, was ruled out on Saturday. In fact, he didn’t travel with the team for their Week 13 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Elliss is No. 51 in PFSN’s EDGE Impact Score, playing on 185 defensive snaps. He has a sack, two QB hits, three tackles for loss, and nine total tackles.
With Elliss out, look for rookie Que Robinson and second-year player Dondrea Tillman to step up. The latter is No. 99 in PFSN’s EDGE Impact Score, playing on 257 defensive snaps. Tillman totals one and a half sacks, four QB hits, a tackle for loss, and 19 total tackles.
Nate Adkins
Adkins was ruled out for Week 13 on Friday. Interestingly for Broncos fans, Denver didn’t call up Marcedes Lewis this week. So, the Broncos will field two tight ends in Week 13.
Alex Singleton
Singleton, No. 28 in PFSN’s LB Impact Score, is back. He’s played on 620 defensive snaps, totaling 89 total tackles, three tackles for loss, two QB hits, and a sack.
Jonathon Cooper
Never a doubt. Cooper is on track to play in Week 13. He is No. 34 in PFSN’s EDGE Impact Score, playing on 409 defensive snaps. Cooper totals seven and a half sacks, 12 QB hits, seven tackles for loss, and 33 total tackles.
Pat Bryant
Bryant is on track to play in Week 13 as well. He’s coming off a five-reception, 82-yard game in Week 11 before the Broncos’ bye week.
