Bears Predicted To Select 28-TD RB in 2026 NFL Draft To Bolster Caleb Williams-Led Offense

Here’s the Wake Forest RB the Chicago Bears are predicted to add to Caleb Williams’ crew in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Chicago Bears this season have been going strong, with a pretty high chance of qualifying for the playoffs. The Bears’ offense under Caleb Williams’ command has been performing impressively, but they are already being predicted to strengthen his crew by adding another offensive weapon in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Bears Predicted to Bring in Demond Claiborne in 2026 NFL Draft

The Bears have been dominating the NFC North, entering Week 13 at the top of their division. Fans need to be thankful for their impressive offensive unit, which currently ranks No. 12 on PFSN’s Offense Impact with a 78.3 score.

To be honest, the team has outperformed even what their die-hard fans expected, and now the situation is such that fans don’t need to scratch their heads doing playoff math anymore.

But adding more talented players to the roster could make the Bears even more competitive next season. One name being predicted to land in Chicago during the 2026 NFL Draft is Wake Forest’s running back Demond Claiborne. In Ian Cummings’ latest 7‑round 2026 NFL Mock Draft, PFSN sends Claiborne to Chicago at No. 91, banking on his 28 TDs across the last two seasons and three‑down profile.

Claiborne has been performing consistently in college football. As a freshman at Wake Forest in 2022, he played in 10 games and finished with 14 carries for 57 yards. The following year, as a sophomore, he started two of 10 games and rushed for 586 yards and five touchdowns.

He earned the starting job in 2024, running for 1,049 yards on 228 carries with 11 touchdowns. This season, he returned as Wake Forest’s starting RB again and has rushed for 849 yards with 10 touchdowns in the five games he started.

Claiborne Could Be the Next Weapon in Caleb Williams’ Loaded Offense Unit

Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had a decent rookie season in 2024, but it didn’t live up to the hype around his name. Fast forward to this season, the 24-year-old QB has impressed fans with the way he is leading the offense.

Williams is on the verge of achieving a huge milestone. If he continues his momentum and delivers strong performances in the coming weeks, he could become the Bears’ first-ever QB to throw for 4,000 yards. This season, he has been one of the biggest driving forces behind the team’s success.

The rest of the offensive players have also been very supportive of Williams and have shown great strength and unity under coach Ben Johnson’s watch.

If the Bears add Claiborne next year, as predicted, it would elevate this offense further. The Wake Forest RB’s versatility and ability to produce explosive plays could take pressure off Williams and give the Bears a more balanced attack.
