We are entering the most important weeks of the fantasy football season. For many of you, it’s win or go home. That makes every decision even more important. Let’s take a look at the top Week 14 waiver wire targets and pickups that fantasy managers should consider adding to their rosters.
As always, all players are rostered in less than 50% of Yahoo leagues.
I eliminated FAAB recommendations last year, as there are too many variables to account for. Instead, I replaced them with my opinion on how aggressive fantasy managers should pursue the player on a scale of 1-10.
Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Rostered: 52%
In a game where he only had to throw 27 passes, Trevor Lawrence managed his second straight game with 20+ fantasy points. He threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns on a relatively efficient day.

Next week, the Jacksonville Jaguars should have to throw a little more against a much better Indianapolis Colts team.
On a week with three viable starting QBs on bye, fantasy managers may be in need of a streamer. That is the role Lawrence can fill.
Aggressiveness Rating: Week 14 streamer
Tyrod Taylor, QB, New York Jets
Rostered: 4%
On the topic of streamers, Tyrod Taylor also fits the bill. To be clear, this is a one-week option only, and only if you have really slim options to replace your starter.
Taylor is coming off a 21-point outing where he threw for 172 yards and a touchdown while adding 44 yards on the ground and another score.
Tyrod takes it himself!!!

Don’t expect any sort of monster performance from Taylor, but he should be viable against a Dolphins defense that has been worse against the pass than the run lately.
Aggressiveness Rating: Week 14 streamer
Bam Knight and Michael Carter, RBs, Arizona Cardinals
Rostered: 25% and 5%
We are now in the third week of Trey Benson’s window to be activated. It goes without saying that if he does return, neither of his backups will be startable.
However, Benson did not look comfortable at practice last week. Head coach Jonathan Gannon downplayed it, but we’re talking about a team playing out the final five weeks of a lost season. There’s no reason to push an unhealthy Benson to play.
Bam Knight continues to start and serve as the Cardinals’ lead back. He’s now scored at least 13.2 fantasy points in three straight games. To be fair, it’s almost entirely because he keeps scoring. But any NFL starting running back needs to be rostered.
As for Michael Carter, he’s seeing enough work to be usable as well. Carter gets a couple of drives to himself and also serves as the passing-down back, at least while Emari Demercado remains out. He managed 11.4 fantasy points as a backup this week. Both backs are viable RB3s for as long as Benson is out.
Aggressiveness Rating: 5.0 and 2.5
Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles Rams
Rostered: 16%
Don’t get overly excited about the 14.1 fantasy points Blake Corum scored this week. He’s definitely a talented runner, but fantasy managers cannot start a running back seeing a mere seven carries and no targets.

Corum did well to rip off 81 yards and find the end zone, but even that wouldn’t do fantasy managers any good without the score.
There is still value in Corum, though. We saw Kyren Williams get banged up this week. He returned to the game, but it’s a reminder of how close Corum is to being a weekly RB2. This late in the season, if you roster Williams and Corum is available, you need to make that move.
Aggressiveness Rating: 3.0
Tyler Allgeier, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Rostered: 42%
It remains surprising to see Tyler Allgeier available in so many leagues. The man has eight touchdowns on the season. At the very least, he’s a touchdown-or-bust Flex option.
Of course, the most important reason to roster Allgeier is because of what happens in the event of a Bijan Robinson injury. We already know Allgeier is talented enough to be a lead back. If Robinson went down, Allgeier would handle 15+ touches per game and be a weekly RB2.
Following the Atlanta Falcons’ awful collapse against the Jets, their season is basically over. That means if Robinson has any sort of nagging issue, the team may shut him down, increasing the odds that Allgeier is a potential difference maker.
Aggressiveness Rating: 5.0
Jalen Coker, WR, Carolina Panthers
Rostered: 4%
A popular late-round dart throw in August, Jalen Coker’s season got off to a false start after a quad injury derailed his first six weeks. It’s been a slow ramp-up, but the former UDFA is starting to get going a bit.
Coker has now caught at least three passes in four straight games. It’s not much, but he’s undoubtedly the second-best wide receiver on the Carolina Panthers behind Tetairoa McMillan.
Against a very good Los Angeles Rams defense, Coker caught four passes for a team-high 74 yards and his first touchdown of the season.

The bad news is the Panthers are on bye next week. So Coker cannot try to build on his season-best performance. But if you have the ability to hold him, Coker is not a bad pickup.
Aggressiveness Rating: 2.0
Adonai Mitchell, WR, New York Jets
Rostered: 2%
Since joining the Jets, Adonai Mitchell’s role has gradually increased each week. He hit his apex against the Falcons on Sunday, catching eight of 12 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Garrett Wilson is set to miss at least one more week. It still seems more likely than not that Wilson doesn’t play again this season. If that’s the case, Mitchell sure looks like the best receiver on the team right now.
Tyrod Taylor is much more capable of getting the ball to his receivers than Justin Fields. As long as he remains the starter, which is the expectation for the remainder of the season, Mitchell may very well be a weekly WR3. He is this week’s top add.
Aggressiveness Rating: 7.0
Jayden Higgins, WR, Houston Texans
Rostered: 35%
It was disappointing to see Jayden Higgins only see five targets this week, but he still managed to catch all of them for 65 yards.
The rookie has been improving every week. He’s now scored at least 9.5 fantasy points in five of his last six.
The bulk of the Texans’ remaining schedule features games where they are likely to need to throw. That should result in more volume for Higgins.
Rookie wide receivers often perform their best during the second half of their inaugural seasons. Higgins probably isn’t going to be a league winner, but he could emerge as a weekly WR3.
Aggressiveness Rating: 4.0
Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers
Rostered: 54%
Although Christian Watson finally crossed the 50% rostership threshold, he’s still worth mentioning. Why isn’t he more heavily rostered?
Since returning from injury, Watson has immediately established himself as the Packers’ WR1. He’s a vastly superior player to Romeo Doubs. Most importantly, Watson offers splash-play upside.
He’s now hit double-digit fantasy points in three of his six games. Over the past two, we’ve seen his target volume tick up a bit, with 17 total — that’s exactly how many targets he had in his first four games combined.
Three of the Packers’ final four games of the fantasy season qualify as favorable matchups. Watson remains volatile, but he is a weekly WR3.
Aggressiveness Rating: 5.0
Dontayvion Wicks, WR, Green Bay Packers
Rostered: 1%
We’ve seen this story play out before. Given the way the Green Bay Packers rotate their wide receivers, at some point, everyone is going to have a big week. On Thanksgiving, it was Dontayvion Wicks’ turn.

— Green Bay Packers (@packers) November 29, 2025
In a rare game in which Jordan Love threw four touchdown passes, Wicks was heavily involved, catching six of seven targets for 94 yards and two of those touchdowns. For the zero of you who started him, congrats on the 28.0 fantasy points. He had one more point on Thursday than he had from Weeks 3-12 combined.
Could this be the start of Wicks’ ascent to the Packers WR1 role? Sure. It’s possible — but highly unlikely. He just happened to be the beneficiary this week. Wicks is not a recommended add.
Aggressiveness Rating: 0.0
Devaughn Vele, WR, New Orleans Saints
Rostered: 1%
For the second consecutive week, Devaughn Vele served as the New Orleans Saints’ WR2. After seeing seven targets last week, he saw eight this week, catching all of them for 93 yards and a touchdown.
This is almost certainly a fluke. We are headed into the most important weeks of the fantasy season. Do you really want to put Vele in your lineup?
If you are desperate, you can add him. But I don’t see anything here.
Aggressiveness Rating: 0.0
Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns
Rostered: 33%
Harold Fannin Jr.’s entire day came down to one play. He caught an impressive 34-yard touchdown, powering his way into the end zone. Aside from that, he had another two catches for nine yards.

— NFL (@NFL) November 30, 2025
With that said, Fannin has posted 8.4 fantasy points or more in four of his last five. That could be enough for some fantasy managers who are struggling at tight end.
The Cleveland Browns lack a clear alpha in the passing game. Whoever plays quarterback is apt to spread the ball around. Fannin is worth a speculative add.
Aggressiveness Rating: 3.0
Dalton Schultz, TE, Houston Texans
Rostered: 46%
Somehow, Dalton Schultz has actually been usable more weeks than not this season. Fresh off his one-catch, eight-yard outing against a Buffalo Bills team that is elite against the tight end, Schultz rebounded to grab seven balls for 55 yards.
Impressively, Schultz now has double-digit fantasy points in six of his last eight. He’s never going to post big numbers, but anything more than 8.0 is usable.
Unfortunately, the Texans get the Chiefs next week. Kansas City is one of the best teams at stopping tight ends. Thus, Schultz is not a recommended pickup.
Aggressiveness Rating: 0.0
Brenton Strange, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars
Rostered: 32%
In two games since returning from IR, Brenton Strange has posted 14.3 and 13.5 fantasy points. Last week, he did it with receiving efficiency, catching all five of his targets for 93 yards. This week, he caught a touchdown.
With Brian Thomas Jr. back in the fold, the Jaguars’ passing attack is a bit crowded now, which is not ideal on a team that wants to run the ball. Fortunately, three of their remaining four games in the fantasy season should be competitive, putting Strange firmly on the streaming radar.
Aggressiveness Rating: 3.5
