The Buffalo Bills are headed into Week 13 off a disappointing loss to the Houston Texans last Thursday Night. They are now 7-4 on the season and trail the New England Patriots by three games in the AFC East. With the division title looking unlikely, the Bills will be fighting for a playoff spot over the remainder of the season. One thing the Bills will need to reach the postseason is health.
They have lost numerous players to injury this season, and their lack of talent in key positions has been glaring. One player the Bills need back is tight end Dalton Kincaid. He is one of their best offensive weapons, and he should be back on the field soon.
Is Dalton Kincaid Still Nursing His Hamstring Injury?
Kincaid suffered a hamstring injury in Week 10 and has been unable to play the last two games. The Bills have another challenging road game coming up on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and while Kincaid is “week to week,” he appears to be improving.
According to Jay Skurski, Kincaid is “improving,” but he will likely need to do something in practice this week to play on Sunday.
Kincaid has been inconsistent all season, but he is still a valuable pass catcher in the Bills’ offense. He has caught 29 passes for 448 yards and four touchdowns in eight games this season. His 448 yards are second on the Bills. His impact is one of the best in the league amongst tight ends. According to PFSN’s TE Impact Score, Kincaid ranks third in the NFL with an 87.5 score.
The Bills’ offense has become too reliant on quarterback Josh Allen. He needs help for the Bills to start playing up to their capability. The Bills are 1-4 in games where Allen has less than three total touchdowns.
The Bills Are Still Super Bowl Hopefuls
When you have Allen at quarterback, reaching the Super Bowl should be the goal every season. Unfortunately, the Bills have been unable to do that during his career.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been a thorn in their side, but the Chiefs look beatable this season. However, the Bills are not as good as they have been either.
Unless the Bills start to play better, they look like one-and-dones come playoff time. Their defense has been underwhelming, and the lack of weapons is becoming evident. Adding Kincaid back into the fold should help, but unless the team plays better, this season will likely end in disappointment.
