A Look at Casper Ruud’s Financial Choices and Family Commitment

The gesture marks one of Ruud’s most personal moves yet. The 26-year-old has invested a substantial amount of his on-court earnings in Norwegian real estate, steadily building a property portfolio while competing on the ATP Tour. His sisters have been visible parts of his support system for years, and each is pursuing her own path.

Caroline, 25, works as an online fitness coach after completing a bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity and Nutrition, while 19-year-old Charlotte is climbing the competitive ladder in tennis.

She reached a career high of No. 1271 in the ITF Junior rankings and joined the University of South Florida in November 2023 to play college tennis. Earlier in 2023, she enrolled at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy to develop her game, further tying her journey to the sport in which her brother has excelled.

According to documents reviewed by the Norwegian outlet Nettavisen, Ruud transferred both apartments to his sisters at no cost. He originally purchased the properties for NOK 5.2 million (approximately $507,278) in John Strandsruds vei in 2021 and NOK 6.45 million (roughly $629,220) in Eva Nansens vei in 2024. The report also notes that Ruud’s real estate investments now span five properties across Asker and Bærum.

His most significant purchase came earlier this year when he acquired an apartment in Strømstangveien on Snarøya for NOK 50 million, estimated at nearly $4.88 million. Nettavisen highlights that the transfers to Caroline and Charlotte were done entirely free of charge, underscoring Ruud’s intention to share his success directly with his family.
