The Philadelphia Eagles stormed out to a lead on Sunday at AT&T Stadium against the Dallas Cowboys, but Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott and the Cowboys were not going down quietly.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts tried his best to lead the Eagles downfield in the fourth quarter, but Dallas came away with a 24-21 win.

One of Hurts’ passes hit DeVonta Smith way downfield, and Smith made a circus catch to put the Eagles in position to score. Unfortunately, Philadelphia failed to capitalize on it.

Had the Eagles won, they could have clinched the NFC East Division title with a victory on Friday over the Chicago Bears. Philadelphia will aim to be 9-3 after Black Friday, so it could clinch in Week 14 against the Cowboys
After the Eagles, the next quickest a team can clinch the division is New England in Week 15, and that would require the Bills to lose one of their next two games and the Patriots to win in Week 13.
That would mean they enter Week 15 with Buffalo at 7-6 or 8-5 and New England 11-2. NE plays Buffalo in Week 15, so it could clinch with a tie if Buffalo is 7-6 or a win if they are 8-5 entering that game.
Heading into the late games on Sunday, the Eagles, according to the PFSN NFL Playoff Predictor, had a 99.4% chance of making the NFL playoffs and a 99.0% chance of winning the NFC East. Additionally, according to playoff metrics ahead of the late Sunday games, the Eagles had an 11.1% chance of repeating as Super Bowl champions.
After their loss to the Cowboys, the Eagles now have a 97.9% chance to make the playoffs, 96.3% chance to win the division, and 23.8% chance to finish as the first seed in the NFC.
According to the PFSN NFL Offense Impact metrics, the Eagles’ offense has an impact score of 75.4 and grades out to a C.
