The Jacksonville Jaguars enter Week 11 at 5-4 and are looking to reset their momentum after last week’s horrific collapse against the Houston Texans. The Chargers come in at 7-3 and present one of Jacksonville’s toughest tests of the season. This game carries significant weight for the Jaguars as they try to stay in the AFC playoff race and avoid slipping further behind the conference leaders.
Here is the injury report for the Jaguars as they take on the Chargers at home.
WR Brian Thomas Jr.
Ankle
Brian Thomas Jr. is questionable for Week 11 after practicing on a limited basis throughout the week. His ankle may limit his explosiveness, but he has been involved in practice sessions in hopes that he can play. His status is one of the most important factors for the offense heading into this matchup.
If active, Thomas will remain in his normal outside role, where his size and speed help open the field vertically. If he cannot play, the Jaguars will need stronger contributions from other receivers to maintain spacing and consistency in the passing game.
WR Parker Washington
Hamstring
Parker Washington is healthy and fully cleared to play in Week 11. After missing Wednesday’s session, he returned to practice and showed steady progress. His development has made him a reliable contributor at receiver this season.
Washington’s availability is crucial with Thomas Jr. dealing with an ankle issue and Travis Hunter out for the season. His ability to work underneath and win contested targets gives the offense a dependable option in key situations.
TE Brenton Strange
Hip
Brenton Strange is out for Week 11 after lightly practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, but was unexpectedly held completely out on Friday. His continued absence removes a strong blocker and reliable short-area target in the passing game.
Without Strange, the tight end group stays without depth and flexibility. Other players will have to absorb larger roles, especially on early downs and in red zone situations.
TE Hunter Long
Hip and Knee
Hunter Long is out after limited participation in practice during the week. With this loss, the Jaguars will be without both of their top tight ends yet again this week. Johnny Mundt steps in once again as the lead tight end for Jacksonville, leaving Trevor Lawrence without an ideal safety valve in a crucial game.
Long’s absence reduces the offense’s ability to use heavier personnel packages. The team will likely lean more on receivers and running backs in formations where Long would normally contribute.
OL Anton Harrison
Knee and Ankle
Anton Harrison is out after missing all practices this week. Harrison has been one of the most reliable players on the Jaguars this season as he’s been a steady option at right tackle. Losing him is a bad beat for Jacksonville’s line that has struggled significantly the past month.
Without Harrison, the Jaguars will rely on Chuma Edoga to start at right tackle. Protection and run blocking personnel may look different as the team adjusts to his absence against a strong Chargers front.
OL Robert Hainsey
Groin
Robert Hainsey is healthy after practicing in a limited capacity throughout the week. His groin injury has not affected his preparation, and he will start Sunday. Hainsey has been the Jaguars’ highest-rated lineman this season, according to PFSN’s OL Impact Rankings, so his availability is a big one for the Jaguars.
Lawrence is certainly thankful to maintain his reliable center on the interior of the line. With so many offensive players dealing with injuries, Hainsey’s stability is one of the few positives this team has going for them.
OL Ezra Cleveland
Knee and Ankle
Ezra Cleveland is healthy after returning to full practice Friday. Cleveland is a critical addition this week as the offensive line struggled significantly against Houston in his absence.
Cleveland may be the most talented player on the Jaguars offensive line, so getting him back in the lineup to help out Walker Little is a massive progression.
OL Patrick Mekari
Knee
Patrick Mekari is healthy and fully participated on Friday. His knee issue appears manageable, and he is expected to play in his usual role at right guard.
Mekari’s versatility allows him to contribute at multiple spots, though, so the Jaguars could flex him out to either tackle spot if they need to make a change. His readiness strengthens the overall depth of the offensive line.
OL Wyatt Milum
Knee
Wyatt Milum is healthy and ready to play after practicing consistently throughout the week. The third-round rookie could see some significant action this week, considering the injuries and how the line has struggled as of late.
If Little continues to struggle at left tackle, they may give the rookie a chance to take over. He also has the ability to slide into the right tackle spot over Edoga, or start at right guard if they move Mekari to right tackle.
LB Dennis Gardeck
Chest
Dennis Gardeck is healthy after practicing on a limited basis all week. His chest injury did not stop him from preparing, and he is expected to contribute as usual.
Gardeck adds energy and effort to the linebacker rotation, and he will likely see more snaps as a pass rusher, as the depth behind Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker has struggled. His availability supports the defense’s pursuit of consistent pressure and tackling.
LB Ventrell Miller
Back
Ventrell Miller is healthy for Week 11 after returning to full practice Friday. His back issue is being monitored, but he is good to go for Sunday.
Miller isn’t expected to see significant snaps with Devin Lloyd and Foye Oluokun healthy, but he provides fantastic depth and special teams ability to a team that needs all the help they can get.
LB Jack Kiser
Shoulder
Jack Kiser is healthy and fully practiced on Friday. His shoulder injury did not limit him enough to affect his availability.

Kiser contributes on special teams and rotational defensive snaps. The rookie linebacker helps stabilize the team where he can.
CB Jourdan Lewis
Neck
Jourdan Lewis is out for Week 11 after missing all practices due to a neck injury. His absence removes an experienced captain from the squad as well as his playmaking ability from the slot.
Jarrian Jones will once again start in the slot as he looks to build off of an impressive game last week. Lewis’ loss is a significant one to a secondary that is still hurting badly from the losses of Hunter and Eric Murray.
CB Greg Newsome
Shoulder
Greg Newsome is healthy and cleared to play after limited practice sessions. He will start at outside corner opposite Montaric Brown, as he is expected to do the remainder of the season.

Newsome’s availability was pivotal to stabilize a secondary dealing with multiple injuries. His playmaking ability is going to be a major factor in this matchup against the Chargers’ plethora of talented receivers.
P Logan Cooke
Groin
Logan Cooke is good to go after being limited on Thursday and Friday. His groin issue does not affect availability, and he will handle all punting duties.
Having Cooke healthy is extremely important to the Jaguars winning the field position battle, as he is one of the best punters in the league.
