The No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide will host the LSU Tigers at the Bryant-Denny Stadium in Week 11 of college football action. The teams are on different trajectories, with coach Kalen DeBoer’s Bama snagging a No. 4 spot in PFSN’s latest College Football Playoff rankings, while the Tigers fired coach Brian Kelly after a 5-3 start to the season.
Due to their respective forms, the Tigers are 10-point underdogs in the riveting SEC clash.
How To Watch Alabama vs. LSU Today
Despite the ESPN blackout by YouTube that has seen several college football fans miss exciting games, still showing no signs of resolution, the Alabama versus LSU game will be televised on ABC at 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will also be available to stream live on Fubo and ESPN+.
Sean McDonough, alongside Greg McElroy, will call the epic SEC rivalry game on ABC, while Molly McGrath will be the sideline reporter for the game. The game will also be available on the LSU Sports Radio Network.
The ongoing standoff between Disney and YouTube TV continues to frustrate fans, with ESPN, ABC, and related networks still unavailable to YouTube TV’s 10 million subscribers. While some viewers have migrated to alternate streaming options like Fubo, others have turned to social media to voice anger over missing key matchups. For now, Disney and YouTube appear entrenched, with no clear end in sight.
Analysts Pick the Crimson Tide To Win Against the Tigers
During Thursday’s segment of the “College GameDay” podcast, ESPN analysts Pete Thamel and Rece Davis tabbed the Tigers to put up a strong fight against the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. Still, they ultimately predicted that DeBoer’s in-form team would emerge victorious.
“There’s been the bye-week,” Thamel said. “You replace your play caller and replace your head coach and go in and test it in that cauldron of Tuscaloosa, where there’s a visceral feeling about the potential of this Alabama team as maybe being the most talented in the SEC. I don’t like LSU’s chance enduring all that change. They certainly couldn’t block, and the run game wasn’t very good to start the season, but I think the Tide will roll.
“So I think you’re going to see a team that comes out and tries to make a physical statement, but I’ll go Ty Simpson, those receivers and the defense creating enough negative plays for Alabama to get out with a win,” Davis said.
The Tigers last beat the Crimson Tide in 2022, and their last win at the Bryant-Denny Stadium came in 2019, with Bama winning five of its last six in Tuscaloosa against LSU. The Tide holds a 57-27-5 advantage in the series against their SEC rivals. DeBoer’s team kick-started the end of the Brian Kelly era when they rolled into Death Valley last season and obliterated his team 42-13 behind an electric performance by quarterback Jalen Milroe.
