Japanese star Naomi Osaka has recently shared her heartfelt thoughts with fans who dressed up as her for Halloween celebrations. She was last seen in action at the 2025 Kinoshita Group Japan Open, where she withdrew from her quarterfinals round against Jaqueline Cristian due to a leg injury, which she had sustained during her second-round match against Suzan Lamens.

How Did Naomi Osaka React to the Fans Dressed Up As Her During Halloween?

Through her recent Instagram stories, the World No. 16 shared admirable Halloween-themed reactions related to her fans, who were dressed up as her. In her first picture, she shared a glimpse of Jack Skellington with a night sky backdrop, with the moon illuminating it. The picture was also covered in purple lights, further creating a spooky and festive atmosphere. In the picture, she added, “happy halloween.”

Another glimpse featured a fan wearing a white hoodie, green cap, and headphones. The fan had added, “big fan @naomiosaka,” to which she responded, “iconic behavior.” The following picture depicted a child standing on a tennis court while wearing Osaka’s famous bow dress. To which the WTA star reacted, “🥹💚🎀.”

The next picture she shared highlighted a young girl holding a tennis racket, dressed up in a red dress, which Osaka wore during the US Open, along with her Labubu doll. The girl was also holding a glitter-filled Labubu doll, completing the outlook wholeheartedly.

Another picture featured a person dressed up entirely as a Labubu doll. The fan completed her Halloween costume with glitter gloves and a tennis racket. To which the winner of seven singles titles added, “LOL going as the labubu is pure commitment 😂😂😂😂 You did that!”

The last one featured a man and a woman, with the girl dressed up as the labubu doll and the man as Osaka. While concluding the glimpses, she admirably wrote, “The Halloween costumes make my year every time 😂❤️”

She began her Asian swing with the China Open, where she lost in the round of 64. At the Wuhan Open, she lost in the round of 32 to Linda Nosková. At the Japan Women’s Open, she defeated Sonobe Wakana in the round of 32, sustained a leg injury during the second round, and withdrew from the quarterfinal match, thus concluding her season.

Through her Instagram post, Osaka shared her farewell message for the season, mentioning, “And that’s a wrap on my year. Great year, everybody. Let’s do it again next year. Maybe a little differently. But yeah, it was fun. See you in Australia.”
