NFL Trade Rumors: Top 15 Players Who Could Be Dealt Before Tuesday’s Deadline

With the trade deadline just days away now, we wanted to recap all of the biggest names that we expect to be on the move and make an impact on the remainder of this season and for years to come. Several players have requested trades, and teams have held firm to this point. However, they must now debate whether the likelihood of that player becoming part of the long-term solution is high enough, or if a move would ultimately benefit them as well.

Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders

The best way to have your trade request respected is the way Jakobi Meyers has handled his business. His usage is down, and the team is struggling yet again, so it would be wise to acquire an asset for him, given that he is already looking elsewhere.

Possible Suitors: San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers

Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans

Tony Pollard showcased his ability to come up big for his team when they needed it most in Dallas, filling in admirably for Ezekiel Elliott. Now, he is playing solid for the Titans, but his usage is down, and he could use some meaningful games to get his game back to that level. Plus, some teams could undoubtedly use some veteran help at the running back position.

Potential Suitors: New England Patriots, Los Angeles Chargers

Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

One of the more interesting trade rumors out there is the idea that Brian Thomas Jr. could be on the move. He is just one year removed from his 1,282-yard and ten-touchdown rookie season that earned him Pro Bowl honors, but his usage is down, and if they don’t plan to use him, then they can get more for him now than ever, given his contract and recent success.

Potential Suitors: New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks

Trey Hendrickson, Cincinnati Bengals

The trade drama with Trey Hendrickson has gone on long enough. Honestly, given the defense’s lack of success, the Bengals should consider moving on and retooling their approach. Joe Burrow is an MVP candidate when he is on the field, and they can start rebuilding that defense by trading Hendrickson for an asset.

Potential Suitors: Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers

Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers

While the San Francisco 49ers, who already have issues with injuries at the wide receiver position, were probably shocked to hear Jauan Jennings wants to be traded. With Brandon Aiyuk returning soon, if they wanted to grant his request, they wouldn’t be totally handcuffed, but they would likely bring in another player at the position if they did.

Potential Suitors: Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Commanders

Cesar Ruiz, New Orleans Saints

With rumors swirling that Cesar Ruiz has been made available by the Saints, “for the right price”, and there are several teams that could use his services. He has been a bright spot for New Orleans in what has been an otherwise trying season.

Potential Suitors: Seattle Seahawks, Cincinnati Bengals

Rashid Shaheed, New Orleans Saints

With his combination of speed and sheer talent, Rashid Shaheed had taken the world by storm. Now, with the quarterback play not at the same level as it was before his injury last season, teams could look to unlock that potential in him as their deep threat. Look for the team that trades for him to use him in the return game as well.

Potential Suitors: Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers

Calvin Ridley, Tennessee Titans

With Ridley being on a deal that has an out this year, and him not having built much rapport with QB Cam Ward, it makes sense to move on from him. He will not bring back a significant asset, given his salary, but he can be instrumental on a team with a good game plan that tries to maximize his potential.

Potential Suitors: Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders

Bradley Chubb, Miami Dolphins

When Bradley Chubb was traded to the Dolphins, he was expected to terrorize defenses and stabilize things up front in Miami. He has been a good player, but he hasn’t been earth-shattering to the point where he shouldn’t be traded. Look for him to rise to the top of the standings and play exceptionally well, with increased motivation and drive.

Potential Suitors: Detroit Lions, New England Patriots

Jaelan Phillips, Miami Dolphins

In his last full season, Jaelan Phillips was the top-rated edge rusher, per our PFSN EDGEi Rankings, and the sixth-most impactful player in the entire league. I think he still can make this impact if the whole offensive line isn’t geared up to stop him. Look for Jaelan Phillips to be the move that everyone looks back and says was a bargain for the impact that he makes.

Potential Suitors: San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys

Chig Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans

Chig Okonkwo looks to be back in form, and this is just at the right time for the Titans to get the most for his value. He seems to work well with Cam Ward, but right now, the Titans need to stock up on all of the assets they can get if their price is met.

Potential Suitors: Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants

David Njoku, Cleveland Browns

Injuries have held David Njoku back from taking the next step as a top tight end in this league, but he looks to be healthy now, and a change of scenery may be just what the doctor ordered for him. Plus, the Browns play his replacement, whom they drafted last year, more often than they play Njoku these days. I think he would be a perfect fit with Trevor Lawrence in Jacksonville, giving him the threat he hasn’t had this year with Engram gone.

Potential Suitors: Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks

Breece Hall, New York Jets

If the Jets’ last game was Hall’s last as a Jet, it will be a reminder of what could have been. Hall ran for two touchdowns and threw for one as well. Look for him to ride this wave into a new team and stay hot right off the bat, as the Jets have no reason not to get something for him.

Potential Suitors: Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs

Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots

When he has taken care of the ball, he has looked like a solid back for New England, but with Treyveon Henderson in-house and upgrades rumored, he could be the odd man out. He has shown flashes, but this should have been expected, given that they spent an early-second-round pick on the position.

Potential Suitors: Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys

Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

Chris Olave is an intriguing player to watch at the deadline, as I believe he will be a more attractive target for a team with a young quarterback, allowing them to build a connection this season and be part of their longer-term plans, given his contract is set to expire in another season. He has shown the peaks of his upside, but has also had his share of concussions, and looks fully healthy now.
