Paula Badosa Highlights Her Sister’s Beauty While Sharing an Elegant Portrait

The Manhattan, New York, native was last seen in action at the 2025 China Open. In the round of 64, she defeated Antonia Ružić. Then she faced Karolína Muchová in the round of 32. Unfortunately, Badosa suffered a left hip injury, concluding the game at 2-4, and left the court feeling distressed and in tears.

She also took medical timeouts during the game, but she could not hold her form for much longer and decided to stop. After her China Open tournament journey, she concluded her season early, sharing a heartfelt note through her Instagram story. Since then, she has been recovering and enjoying her time sans the competition.

Earlier this month, Badosa enjoyed her desert getaway and a dinner outing with her best friend, World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka. She also shared admirable pictures of their quality time through her Instagram post. Through her recent Instagram story, Badosa shared an elegant and striking pose of her 17-year-old sister, Jana Badosa. While sharing her love, she mentioned, “My beautiful princess @janabadosa 💞💞💞💞”

Along with her mother, Mireia Gibert, and her sister, Badosa, she also went on a vacation in Bali, the scenic province of Indonesia. The Spanish star planned the family trip after bidding adieu to her season earlier due to physical health issues. She shared pictures of herself and her family enjoying the exotic tropical destination on social media.

What Did Badosa Reveal About Her Parental Role Towards Her Younger Sister?

During one of the episodes of “My Journey: Paula Badosa,” the notable player expressed her thoughts regarding the maternal relationship she shares with her sister, Jana Badosa. While highlighting her close bond, Badosa revealed the importance of her sibling in her life and how she wants to help her achieve her dreams while reflecting on her own career.

“We have a 10-year difference so I always felt that, of course, I’m her older sister but as I say, at the same time, I always felt like I had to like, be her second mom. I protect her so much, especially the role I’m playing right now with her right now it’s financially, I’m helping her.” She shared (via Tennis365)

She continued, “She’s the most important person in my life, so I would. She knows that I would do anything for her. I just want her to have an opportunity to do whatever she wants or her dream. I had my opportunity to make my dream come true, so I just want that for her.”
