Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a chance to put his name in the NFL record book on Sunday against his old team, the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers has had an illustrious career, playing with the Packers, New York Jets and, now, with the Steelers. He’s been a player who has collected victories over a lot of NFL teams. Yet he’s going to have a chance to accomplish another goal.
What Can Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers Do Sunday?
If Rodgers can steer the Steelers offense into the end zone a lot, then he’ll lead Pittsburgh into the win column. Should this happen, then Rodgers joins four other stellar QBs for a great career achievement.
Rodgers, with a win over the Packers, will have beaten every single NFL team in his career. As has been pointed out, he’s going to join some elite company.

Legendary NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Brett Favre, and Peyton Manning all beat every NFL team in their careers. Brady accomplished the feat with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while Brees did so while with the then-San Diego Chargers and New Orleans Saints.
Meanwhile, Favre did the trick while playing for the Packers, Jets, and Minnesota Vikings. He started his career with the Atlanta Falcons, but didn’t get a win while with the team. As for Manning? It was all done while he led the Indianapolis Colts. In the PFSN NFL QB Impact metrics, Rodgers has a 79.0 QB Impact Score and grades out at C+. But it is not because of his play with the Steelers.
Rodgers is turning back the clock after some not-so-stellar play with the Jets. He is now having an excellent 2025 NFL season for the Steelers. He’s got a 4-2 record as the team’s starting QB. Rodgers has thrown 14 touchdown passes against five interceptions. As for yardage this season, Rodgers has 1,270.

In last week’s 33-31 loss against the Cincinnati Bengals, Rodgers was 23-of-34 passing for 249 yards with four touchdown passes and two interceptions. If Rodgers can even get close to this type of game against the Packers, then he’s going to get that elusive final win over an NFL team.
Rodgers has already said that this season was going to be the final one for him in the NFL. That means getting a victory over Green Bay really matters to him. Look for Rodgers to come out firing early and often despite facing a fierce Packers rush anchored by Micah Parsons.
Packers fans, on the other hand, want to see Parsons and Co. give Rodgers all the trouble that he can face on Sunday.
