Wide receiver Cooper Kupp played for the Seattle Seahawks in their Week 7 game against the Houston Texans on Monday, recording one reception and a trick play pass that was intercepted. Nevertheless, his team won 27-19, and supporting him from the stands was his wife, Anna Marie Kupp.
What did Anna Marie Kupp share after Cooper Kupp’s win?
Anna Marie Kupp uploaded a few pictures on Instagram where she is on the sidelines alongside Cooper. He was in full uniform, and she was wearing a white top paired with black leather pants.
“One thing about me, I got you. 🔒,” she captioned on Tuesday.

Cooper and Anna’s time together began in high school when they met during their senior year at a track meet in Washington. Cooper was a student at Davis High School in Yakima, and Anna attended Richland High School nearby. Their first meeting was special as Anna handed Cooper a medal after one of his track events. Cooper later told ESPN that he knew from that moment he would marry her.
“I knew that she was the one that I wanted to marry when we had first met back in high school,” Kupp told ESPN in 2022. “I told my mom the day I met her, ‘I’m going to marry this girl.’”
After high school, they went to different colleges. Anna enrolled at the University of Arkansas, while Cooper went to Eastern Washington University. She later transferred to Eastern Washington so they could be together, and the two eventually married in 2015.
As for the game, while the team got the job done, Cooper had a surprisingly quiet night. He caught his only target for 32 yards and a trick play, which did not go as planned. His pass was intercepted while trying to hit Jaxon Smith-Njigba downfield. According to PFSN’s wide receiver impact metric, Kupp has a grade of C so far for 2025.
Meanwhile, Smith-Njigba recorded eight catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. However, Seattle’s offense was not on par with its usual performance. Outside of a couple of rushing touchdowns from Zach Charbonnet and a strong first half, the Seahawks had a hard time moving the ball consistently against the NFL’s top-rated scoring defense.
Quarterback Sam Darnold had an inconsistent game, throwing a touchdown but also losing a fumble that resulted in a Texans defensive touchdown.
Defensively, the Seahawks played well. Linebacker Ernest Jones IV had an excellent performance, snagging his third interception of the year and leading the team with 11 tackles. The pass rush got to Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud three times and hit him another seven.
