After an injury-plagued season forced her to end her 2025 campaign early, the Spanish tennis star found comfort in their company during a healing getaway to Indonesia. The trip gave her a well-needed rest and a reminder of the love and support that have carried her through her most challenging battles.

Earlier this month, Badosa shared that she, her mother, sister, friends, and extended family took a trip to Bali, Indonesia. She posted several pictures and videos from their vacation.
Recently, the Spaniard shared another photo of herself, her mother and her sister posing on a beach in Lombok, an Indonesian island east of Bali. She also posted a picture of them hugging goodbye at the airport after their trip.
“Fam 💖,” Badosa captioned her Instagram story.
Badosa reflected on her difficult year, stating that there were times when she felt like her world was “falling apart.” She expressed her appreciation for her mother, Mireia, and her sister, Jana, for standing by her side and helping her through these tumultuous times.
The former world No.2 also thanked them for joining her on the trip to Indonesia, mentioning it was hard for her to say goodbye to them at the end of their time together.
“This year I have felt like the world is falling apart many times but having these two little people always by my side has helped me push through. Thanks for this much needed trip! I love you so much @janabadosa @gibertmireia I admit that I hate goodbyes 🥲❤️,” she added (translated from Spanish).

On the tennis side, Badosa last competed at the 2025 China Open, where she was seeded 18th and began her campaign in the second round after receiving a bye in the first round. She won her opening match against Antonia Ružić, with a scoreline of 6-3, 7-6(2). She faced Karolína Muchová in the third round but had to retire during the first set, with the score at 4-2 retd., due to a left hip injury.
The Spaniard’s best result this season came at the 2025 Australian Open, where she reached the semifinals before losing to eventual runner-up Aryna Sabalenka, with a scoreline of 4-6, 2-6.
