Bills OC Joe Brady Predicted To Leave Buffalo After 2025 Season

One of the hottest names on the coaching carousel in the past few seasons, Bills OC Joe Brady is now being rumored to leave Buffalo.

The first head coaching fire of the NFL season has happened, and it came a lot sooner than most people expected. After a 1-5 start to the season, the Tennessee Titans fired head coach Brian Callahan. It was a surprising move this early into his second season, but the Titans felt it was time after an awful start to the year.

While the Titans will go with Mike McCoy as their interim head coach, you can expect they to have a long list of candidates to hire for the job once the season ends. One name who will likely be a top candidate is Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

NFL Analyst Predicts Joe Brady to the Titans

Brady is one of the top names on the coaching radar this offseason. He is a young, innovative play-caller that many teams are looking for. NFL analyst Mina Kimes took to X to suggest that Brady and the Titans would be a good fit. She said, “Tennessee Titans HC Joe Brady,” not long after the team officially fired Callahan.

Brady has done a great job with the Bills’ offense since taking over as interim OC in 2023. He has led the Bills to three consecutive seasons with top 10 finishes in yards and points. Additionally, he has demonstrated a balanced offense, achieving success in both passing and rushing.

According to PFSN, the Bills have an Offense Impact Score of 94.4, which ranks second in the NFL.

The most important thing for the Titans’ next hire is someone who will develop rookie quarterback Cam Ward. That is why hiring an offensive coach is vital. Coaching changes have changed the trajectory of players’ careers, and that is what the Titans hope with Ward, who has struggled through the first six games of his career.

Joe Brady Coaching Background

What many people may not know about Brady is that the Bills were not his first opportunity as an offensive coordinator. He was the OC for the Carolina Panthers in 2020 and 2021, but things did not go very well for him during that stint.

His offense ranked outside the top 20 in both yards and points, but some of that was due to the personnel he was working with.

Additionally, it is worth noting that Brady served as the passing game coordinator for the LSU Tigers when they won the National Championship in 2019. That was one of the best teams in college football history, and Brady did a great job navigating the star power on that offense.

There is no guarantee that Brady will be a great NFL head coach, but the experience he has gained over the years and his ability to help certain quarterbacks develop would make him a strong candidate for the Titans.
