“Wow. This season has become a dumpster fire. Only 2 wins against FBS opponents, A late blown lead to lose at WMU, now a blown 21-point lead to lose to a back-up QB who had barely played before? Weird, isn’t it?” One Toledo fan wrote.

“You’ve lost the fanbase. Best recruiting class and roster in the MAC year after year. Disappointment year after year. Make a decision, Blair,” another fan wrote, showcasing the current state of the University following the loss.

Bowling Green Victory Sealed By ‘Butt Incereption.’

While it was a huge effort by the Falcons’ offense to storm back into the lead, including a 77-yard throw from wide receiver RJ Garcia II, who finished the game with a QBR of 100, all of those efforts were overshadowed by one play.

With Toledo trailing by seven with just minutes left to go, wide receiver Trayvon Rudolph went up for a catch, it ended up being deflected into the air, where cornerback MJ Cannon was able to intercept the ball of Rudolph’s rear end.

After that play, Bowling Green was able to seal the game with an intentional safety, returning the Battle of I-75 trophy to the university, as well as earning them bragging rights for the next year, before their next encounter.
