Izzy Shows Pride After Bo Nix’s Heroics Against the Eagles
Just after the match, Bo Nix’s wife, Izzy, took to Instagram to share the excitement on her Instagram story. She posted a message celebrating the team’s resilience and her husband’s clutch performance.
“So proud of this team, see y’all in London,” Izzy wrote alongside a video from Bo’s post-game interview. The message captured the joy of the moment and looked ahead to the Broncos’ upcoming international matchup against the New York Jets.

Izzy has been Bo’s biggest cheerleader since their college days at Auburn. The couple met in June 2020 when she was a cheerleader for the Tigers. The couple got engaged at Jordan-Hare Stadium in July 2021. Bo shared his joy on Instagram, writing: “God is so good! I knew from the first moment I laid eyes on you that you were special. I cannot wait to be your husband. Here’s to forever with you, Izzy Smoke!”
They married in Alabama in July 2022 after Bo transferred to Oregon for his final two college seasons.
Nix endured a rough time with Philadelphia’s defense for three quarters, but he managed to save his best for last. Entering the fourth quarter, the Broncos were behind 17-3 until Nix led three scoring drives. He completed 24 out of 39 passes for 242 yards and a touchdown. He made the most crucial passes during the last quarter, when he completed 9 of 10 attempts for 126 yards.
Nix threw a big 34-yard completed pass to Courtland Sutton to start the winning drive. He then tossed a touchdown pass to tight end Evan Engram from a distance of 11 yards to cut the gap to one for Denver.
With 7:36 left in the game, HC Sean Payton made the call to go for two, and Nix connected with Troy Franklin in the end zone to put Denver up 18-17. They then scored a late field goal to cement the upset victory.
Through five games, Nix has earned a C grade with a 76.9 QB Score on PFSN QB Impact Metric, ranking 18th nationally among qualifying quarterbacks in the season. Meanwhile, after having improved to 3-2, the Broncos will prepare to face the Jets next.
