What Is the Halftime Show for Jets-Dolphins?

The Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium have booked Gente de Zona and Maffio to perform the in-stadium halftime show.

Gente de Zona, the Cuban duo known for blending traditional Cuban rhythms with contemporary urban pop and breaking internationally with hits like “Bailando” and “La Gozadera,” will share the stage with Maffio, the Dominican producer-artist recognized for his tropical-urban sound and collaborations in “merengue electrónico” across Latin music.

The performance begins shortly after the second quarter ends and is designed for the game-day crowd. Viewers at home will see ESPN’s standard halftime programming while the concert takes place inside the venue.

If you’re attending, plan your break around the on-field show and expect the performance to run the length of halftime. If you’re watching on TV, your coverage will stay with the ESPN desk, highlight packages, and first-half analysis while the in-stadium entertainment plays live.

Jets-Dolphins Preview

The Jets-Dolphins matchup kicks at 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN, the earlier slot of a Week 4 doubleheader. It’s a primetime meeting between two AFC East teams looking to establish a rhythm, with the broadcast focusing on how each side handles situational football within a compressed window.

Miami’s offense enters with the league’s best third‑down conversion rate at 54.3%, and Tua Tagovailoa is 6‑0 against the Jets, averaging 212.7 passing yards with a 73.6% completion rate over his last two games against New York. The Dolphins have won nine straight home meetings in this series by an average of 10.4 points.

New York counters with a top‑10 rushing attack and Justin Fields back under center after clearing concussion protocol — the Jets were in the top 10 for rushing yards and rushing TDs entering Week 4.

Miami blitzes heavily but has struggled to turn it into pressure this season, while the Jets’ line must hold up long enough to let Fields work play‑action and get Garrett Wilson involved. Both defenses have been light on takeaways, putting added weight on red‑zone execution and third downs in a game where margins are thin.

Viewers in the New York market can also find the ESPN feed on WWOR (Channel 9), while Miami viewers can find it on WFOR (Channel 4) for local simulcasts.

Jets–Dolphins is followed by Bengals–Broncos at 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC. The ESPN booth in Miami features Chris Fowler on play-by-play with analysts Dan Orlovsky and Louis Riddick, and sideline reporting on site throughout.
