The Seattle Seahawks will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, specifically regarding WR Cooper Kupp.
Is Cooper Kupp Playing in Week 2?
Kupp is not on the injury report and is expected to play.
We’ll continue to monitor the Seahawks’ injury report leading up to kickoff for any changes. You can also visit and bookmark our Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.
Should You Start or Sit Cooper Kupp in Week 2?
On the bright side, Cooper Kupp led the Seahawks in routes and was on the field for 88% of their offensive snaps.
On the down side, his second half slide from last season looks to be more of a trend than a fluke. Kupp turned one of every eight routes into a target and did next to nothing with them (two catches for 15 yards).
Kupp had just 53 receiving yards in his last three regular season games with the Rams, but we were holding out hope that the veteran could return to the form he showed prior to Thanksgiving and be a viable lineup piece.
I’m not 100% ruling that out, but I’m certainly not playing him until I see some signs of life in the target-earning department. Kupp has a big name, but I’d play Wan’Dale Robinson over him this week and not lose sleep over it.
