Tyran Stokes owns over 150 pairs of sneakers, but his most prized possession came directly from Andre Drummond’s hands. The nation’s top 2026 recruit recently showed custom Jordan 1s that the Philadelphia 76ers center personally gifted him at Top 100 Camp.
The NBA veteran didn’t just grab these off a shelf. Drummond had the shoes specially crafted with custom laces before handing them over to the consensus number one recruit in his class.
How Do Custom Jordan 1s Stand Out in Stokes’ Massive Sneaker Collection?
During a “Day in My Life” feature on SLAM High School’s YouTube channel, Stokes showcased his sneaker room, which contains around 150 pairs of premium shoes.
Among the extensive collection, one particular pair carried a special story. “I got these from Andre Drummond. He gave me these at Top 100 Camp. He had custom-made these, threw the laces in there,” Stokes said while displaying the Jordan 1s with their unique lacing.
Stokes described the Jordan 1s as “off-white” in color and considers them among his favorite shoes in the collection. Their custom nature makes them stand out compared to his other premium pairs from various brands.
Which NBA Players Have Connected with Stokes Through Sneaker Gifts?
Beyond the Drummond connection, Stokes revealed his collection includes another gift from a professional player. He received Dunk SBs directly from Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner at another basketball event, showing the relationships he’s built within basketball circles.
“I got these from Myles Turner, you feel me? He a real one. He gave me these off his feet,” Stokes said while showing the sneakers Turner wore.
The teenage prospect also owns custom Nike shoes created specifically for him during the Nike Academy camp, complete with his signature number four.
What Makes Stokes the Nation’s Most Coveted Recruit?
Stokes has established himself as the consensus number one recruit in the Class of 2026 through dominant performances on the court. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 21 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists during his junior season at Notre Dame High School, leading the Knights to significant playoff runs.
His international success includes three FIBA gold medals by age 17. He won those at the 2023 U16 Americas Championship, 2024 U17 World Cup, and 2025 U19 World Cup. At the U19 tournament, he made history by recording the first triple-double by an American player in the competition.
The Louisville native has attracted scholarship offers from elite programs including Kentucky, Louisville, and Kansas as he prepares for his final high school season.
The collection represents both Stokes’ personal purchases and gifts from NBA players who have recognized his basketball abilities. As he continues building relationships with professional players, the teenage star remains focused on his senior year before committing to college.
