Coco Gauff Thrives in Her ‘Natural Habitat’ As She Enjoys Diving, Boating, and Posing for an Impromptu Photoshoot by the Floridian Waters

Coco Gauff makes the most of her time off as she shares highlights from her Floridian getaway.

American tennis star Coco Gauff is currently on a short break following her early exit from the Wimbledon Championships. The youngster seems to be making the most of her time off, as reflected in the recent highlights she shared from an offbeat corner of Florida.

Coco Gauff Enjoys Spending Time in the Serene Natural Setting of Florida

Gauff had a great run on clay, kicking off with a quarterfinals finish in Stuttgart and runner-up finishes at the WTA 1000 event in Madrid and Rome. But what made it a fairytale ending was a triumph at the 2025 French Open, which also marked her second Major title.

But things seemed to go off track for the World No. 2 after that. She shifted her focus to the grass-court swing, but what stood out was her string of defeats in every tournament opener. At the Berlin Tennis Open, she entered as the second seed and began her campaign in the second round, only to lose in straight sets to China’s Wang Xinyu. Wimbledon offered no respite either, as Gauff was ousted in her opening match by Dayana Yastremska, marking yet another surprising exit.

With her campaign at SW19 ending earlier than expected, the American took the chance to recharge before gearing up for the North American hard-court swing. Currently in the Sunshine State, Gauff recently took part in an impromptu photoshoot surrounded by nature. She was seen striking several chic poses, diving and swimming underwater, and capturing the charm of her offbeat location in a short clip. The highlights were shared on her Instagram not long ago.

“just a floridian pisces in her natural habitat 🧜🏾‍♀️✨,” she captioned the post.

Gauff’s relationship with her boyfriend, Jalen Sera, has become more public in recent times. He even accompanied her on this trip.

Gauff’s getaway could have taken a frightening turn, but she handled the situation with humor. While paddling with Sera, the 21-year-old suddenly noticed an alligator nearby, but instead of panicking, she responded playfully and shared it on her Instagram story.

“Out here with the gators.”

Through her story, the American also gave fans the tranquil charm of the hidden gem in Florida, including a shot of herself canoeing and later diving into the lake. Sera, too, shared highlights of their adventure on his Instagram story.

After getting herself completely relaxed, the American will head into the 2025 National Bank Open in Montreal. She has had a decent history in the tournament, with three quarterfinal appearances, and will enter this year’s tournament as the top seed. Meanwhile, seven-time ATP Masters 1000 winner Alexander Zverev will enter the men’s draw as a top seed.
