“If something were to happen to me, it’s all hers. Because she knows what I care about and vice versa. So she would take care of everybody and everything that she knows I would. So there’s a lot of trust in that,” Agassi said about his wife.
The family has also faced challenges together. Both Agassi and Graf’s mothers were hospitalized, creating a difficult period for the family. Agassi explained the situation: “My wife’s mom just had a fall just before my mom did. And they were one hospital room away from each other over Christmas. And we were there every day, and we’re still there every day.”
Despite these challenges, Agassi sees these moments as teaching opportunities for his children. “The kids come and visit. I look at it like, I need to take care of my parents so my kids understand what they’re going to have to do for me,” Agassi added, laughing.
