Hudson’s Instagram story featured a peanut butter sandwich on a plate with Belichick visible in the background. She captioned “BBPDDPB&J” and added the “chef’s kiss” sticker. The post included a YouTube link to vintage footage from Belichick’s Cleveland Browns days.
The clip shows Belichick on “Sports Mock Live” in the early 1990s, showing his BB PB&J technique. He explained his key innovation in making the sandwich.
“The key is to spread the peanut butter on both sides of the bread so the jelly doesn’t leak through,” Belichick said.
The vintage footage from Cleveland comedy show host Mike Veneman features Belichick methodically explaining his sandwich construction. He detailed using raisin bread “because that’s what his mother used” and chunky peanut butter for “extra crunch and energy” during his Browns tenure.
