7 Wide Receivers Ranked Among PFSN’s Top 50 for 2025 NFL Season: Who Is the WR1?

PFSN's Top 100 for 2025 features seven WRs in the top 50, but after a triple crown season, one stands alone. Can anyone catch him this year?

The wide receiver position is currently one of the deepest in talent across the NFL. Rarely has the league been this stacked at receiver, with nearly every team boasting at least one star on its roster in 2025.

In PFSN’s list of the top 100 players in the NFL, seven wide receivers made the top 50, and the No. 1 player at the position is coming off a historic season. Since entering the league, he’s been one of the NFL’s biggest stars, regardless of position.

Who Are The 7 Best-Ranked Wide Receivers in the NFL?

Puka Nacua opens the top 7, coming in at No. 43. The Rams receiver enters his third NFL season after missing six games last year due to injury, which kept him from reaching the 1,000-yard mark.

Still, Nacua has already established himself as a star, despite being a late-round draft pick. He posted an incredible 1,486 receiving yards as a rookie and set a then-record with 105 receptions by a rookie.

Nico Collins ranks as the sixth-best wide receiver, coming in at No. 39. He’s built rare chemistry with his quarterback and, despite being limited to 12 games due to injury, topped 1,000 yards for the second straight season.

His physical playing style and reliable hands draw comparisons to early-career Mike Evans. If he stays healthy this year, he’s a strong candidate to lead the league in receiving yards, especially with Tank Dell’s injury opening the door for him to become the offense’s go-to target.

CeeDee Lamb and Amon-Ra St. Brown are the fifth and fourth best receivers, ranked No. 32 and No. 28, respectively. Both are dynamic and reliable playmakers who can efficiently operate from the slot and are just as effective on the outside.

What Players Made The Top 3 Wide Receivers in the NFL?

The top three wide receivers in the rankings represent exactly what it means to be an elite pass catcher in today’s NFL. Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, and A.J. Brown are widely considered the gold standard at the position, each showcasing different styles of dominance throughout the season.

Jefferson leads the group, ranked as the 15th-best player overall. No wide receiver has had a better start in receiving yards over the first five years of a career, and few offer the level of reliability he does. He consistently delivers and remains a trusted target regardless of who is under center.

The battle between Brown and Chase features two physical receivers who always give their quarterbacks a real shot to complete the play. Brown’s impact was key in helping the Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl over the Kansas City Chiefs last season, coming up clutch throughout the playoffs.

But the title of the NFL’s best wide receiver belongs to Chase, who landed at No. 8 overall. In 2024, Chase led the league not only in receiving yards, but also in receptions and touchdowns, claiming the triple crown during a season in which the Bengals offense lit up the scoreboard.

“Chase enters the 2025 season as one of the most feared receivers in football. His ability to separate, create after the catch, and find the end zone makes him a matchup nightmare for defenses. With his contract situation behind him and a healthy Joe Burrow, Chase should be considered one of the very best in the game, a designation that isn’t tossed around loosely in this era of pass-catching talent,” Brandon Austin wrote in his article.

Brown ranked No. 11 overall and second among wideouts. Still, it’s impossible to overlook how his physicality, combined with Jalen Hurts’ short-game precision and Saquon Barkley’s presence in the backfield, created a balanced and versatile offense.

Right now, however, no wide receiver has been more dominant than Chase, and 2025 is shaping up to be another year where the Bengals star competes for the league’s top receiving stats.
