George Kittle’s Wife Claire Drops 2-Word Reaction to All-Pro TE’s ‘Madden NFL 26’ Rating

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle got a pretty good grade from "Madden NFL 26," but his wife Claire had second thoughts.

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has been one outstanding player during his NFL career. Kittle has been a central part of 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan’s offense, being a key passing target for quarterback Brock Purdy.

Look for Kittle to keep on playing hard in the upcoming NFL season. Right now, though, Kittle is with his teammates as training camp is underway. Others also notice Kittle’s great play, including his wife, Claire.

When the latest “Madden NFL 26” ratings dropped for her All-Pro husband, Claire offered her thoughts about it.

What Does Claire Kittle Think of Husband’s Rating?

Those “Madden NFL 26” ratings gave George a 98 overall mark, combining his toughness (98), awareness (97), catching (95), and stamina (94) scores. Looking at the numbers, they appear to be pretty solid.

Claire, though, had her own opinion. She headed over to her Instagram account and posted a short, two-word response to the “Madden NFL 26” image of her husband. Her response? “100 tbh”.

San Francisco 49ers tight end received high marks from "Madden NFL 26" but his wife Claire had her own thoughts.

In 15 games for the 49ers last season, George had 78 catches for 1,106 yards and eight touchdown catches, according to StatMuse. He was targeted 94 times in 15 games, averaging 14.2 yards per catch. In eight seasons with San Francisco, George has 538 catches for 7,380 yards and 45 touchdowns. He’s also been a Pro Bowl selection six times, too.

The 49ers finished 6-11 last season, dead last in the NFC West Division behind the division-winning Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and Arizona Cardinals. Shanahan doesn’t want a repeat of that to happen this season.

In PFSN’s NFL Top 100 Players, Kittle sits at No. 40, which is 12 points down from his No. 28 spot in the 2024 season’s list. “Kittle was a consistent downfield threat, posting an average depth of target of 8.9 yards (sixth among TEs) and a 70.6% contested catch rate (eighth),” according to the story.

“His 2.1% drop reflects his reliability as a target for Brock Purdy. Kittle is also a threat with the ball in his hands, averaging 6.7 yards after the catch per reception (second).”

George’s ability to get open downfield for Purdy has been noticed by many NFL observers. He’s also been able to provide Purdy protection when necessary. Still, those numbers from the “Madden NFL 26” game don’t sit well with Claire.

How Long Has 49ers’ George Kittle Been Married?

George and Claire have been married since 2019. Back in 2023, they lost a child when Claire had an ectopic pregnancy. But she’s pregnant at this time with twins, meaning George and Claire will be parents soon.

They have been active on social media, sharing their trips as well as life’s ups and downs. George continues to prove that he’s worthy of recognition on the field. Claire, obviously, thinks highly of her husband’s play and showed that she did in her two-word response.

In the upcoming NFL season, George will have plenty of chances to show that he’s worthy of a 100 grade in “Madden NFL 26.” 49ers fans will be watching closely as he remains a prime target for Purdy.
