What Is the NFL Honors?

The NFL Honors ceremony will help set the stage for the Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots matchup in Super Bowl 60. The annual awards show recognizes the league’s top players and the most outstanding performances from the season.

A host of NFL stars will be in attendance for the 15th edition of NFL Honors, scheduled for 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, Feb. 5.

At the center of the night is the league’s most prestigious individual award, the MVP, which has emerged as a close race between Matthew Stafford and Drake Maye. Based on PFSN’s QB Impact Metric, Maye wrapped up the regular season as the NFL’s second-highest-graded quarterback, while Stafford ranked sixth.

The winners of the eight Associated Press NFL awards are selected by a national panel of 50 media members. Actor Jon Hamm will host the ceremony, which will air on NBC and NFL Network.

While the MVP announcement is expected to dominate headlines, the full slate of honors is sure to generate buzz and debate as the football world builds toward Sunday’s showdown.
