What Is a Relative Athletic Score?
The Relative Athletic Score is a grading scale created by Kent Lee Platte to demonstrate an NFL player’s athletic prowess in Combine testing compared to other players historically at their respective positions.
The grading is measured by their testing numbers’ percentage relative to how other players at that position have performed in years past. For example, if a player has a 9.50 score, they are a 95th-percentile athlete at their given position.
