The 2025 NFL Draft is set to be the latest installment in the league’s annual selection meeting. The NFL’s global growth has made the game more popular than it’s ever been, and the increased coverage around the event shows that.
This year’s draft is at historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI, and runs from April 24th to April 26th. The Green Bay Packers’ home is set to host a large number of fans, but how can everyone else catch the event?

History of the NFL Draft
The NFL Draft wasn’t implemented until 1936, when teams gathered in a hotel and picked over a pool of just 90 players. The draft wasn’t broadcast until 1980 when ESPN convinced then-Commissioner Pete Rozelle that the event would draw an audience.
Once the league shifted the draft to the weekend in 1988, ESPN’s ratings significantly increased, and the draft started to become more of a spectacle.
The draft was held at New York’s Radio City Music Hall for many years before rotating between NFL cities starting in 2015. Chicago hosted in 2015 and 2016, and eight other cities have hosted since.
The 2020 NFL Draft was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and Pittsburgh is set to host in 2026.
