As they’ve gone this season, Jake Haener and Jalen Moreno-Cropper are your must-start options in this game. The Mountain West divisional champions have this duo to thank for their recent success and conference championship game appearance.

And you can cash in on their success with their place in your DFS lineups. Haener has thrown for 16 touchdowns in just seven games this season, limiting his interceptions to just three. He’s seeing the field much better than ever before and has continued to carve out his own legacy at Fresno State.

Moreno-Cropper has headlined a talented receiving corps that includes former Cal WR Nikko Remigio, who is also in the fringe-level must-start levels. Remigio doubles as the Bulldogs’ returner and could see great value as a dual threat.

On the ground, both teams present options for your lineups. Jordan Mims has taken over for Ronnie Rivers with great success, reaching 11 touchdowns and over 1,000 yards in just 11 games.

Wyoming’s Titus Swen is set to reach 1,000 yards as well, with just under 40 yards necessary. Swen has to do the majority of his damage on his own, as his offensive line hasn’t given him much to work with recently.

However, Swen is more than capable and is averaging over five yards per attempt. Swen, Mims, Moreno-Cropper, Haener, and even Remigio could propel your lineup with just their presence alone. Grab them in any combination in your full-day lineups, or if you can find a single-game lineup, you’re good to go.

Prediction for Wyoming vs. Fresno State

When it comes down to it, this game is likely a must closer matchup than the final line indicates. Fresno State is on a tear since Haener returned. However, before their slip-up to Boise State, Wyoming was on its own tear.

And even still, Wyoming was a fluke interception away from upsetting the Boise State Broncos or sending the game to overtime, at the very least. Sure, they shouldn’t have even been in that position in the first place, but a win would’ve been a win, and this game would have much more implications for the conference’s championship game.

Instead, finding the differences between the two programs is necessary to bet on this one with the Championship Game set. Fresno State may lack some motivation while Wyoming is out to achieve a better bowl game standing.

Swen has done a great job of creating on his own, and Fresno State’s defense is allowing nearly 4.5 yards per carry this year, one of the worst figures in the conference. They allow the 10th-most rushing yards on the ground and have allowed 16 rushing touchdowns.

For the Cowboys, the recipe for an upset victory would be grinding out a close-fought victory with the ground game propelling them. Fresno State can score with the best of them, but it needs to be said – will they even play their starters long enough to do so?

It’s a tough call to hinge bets on, but even still, this line should be closer to seven points with Wyoming’s ability to run the ball and dictate the clock.

Prediction: Fresno State 30, Wyoming 21
