Jason and Travis aren’t the only stars in the Kelce clan. Their mom, Donna Kelce, is also making the headlines for her upcoming projects.
Momma Kelce is set to make her acting debut with two Hallmark movies revolving around her two sons. During an interview with the “Vulture” on Monday, Sept. 23, she explained her role in the exciting projects:
“I think they’re coming out in November, I think it’s just a little teeny cameos here and there. It just was something that they thought they’d throw in the movie. So it’s kind of fun. One of them’s about Philly, and the other is about the Chiefs, so it’s made sense.”
Talking about if this is a career path she would want to follow in the future, she said: “I don’t think so. I don’t think this is a career move for me. I think it’s just something that was fun and a one-time shot.”
The first Jason special movie will be released on Nov. 22. It is called Christmas on Call. The movie takes place in Philadelphia and revolves around a die-hard Eagles fan who shows his love interest around the city.
The other movie, “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” which will be released on Nov. 30, revolves around a die-hard Chiefs fan and a “fan of the year” contest. What makes things even more special is that Donna isn’t the only intriguing cameo in the movie.
Other big names from the Chiefs kingdom who will be making an appearance in the movie include head coach Andy Reid and players George Karlaftis, Trey Smith, Mecole Hardman Jr., Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Trey Smith.
In the trailer, Donna is seen wearing a classic Chiefs jersey and working as a manager of the Kansas City BBQ restaurant Norma & Nic.
What Did Donna Kelce Do for a Living?
Despite losing her mom at the age of 12, Donna Kelce had a supportive and loving family background, living with her dad and stepmom, Mary.
Donna’s stepmom empowered her to get into sports, leading to her playing in the Junior Olympics in track and field events.
Jason and Kelce’s mom was also the first woman in her family to have a college degree. She first did her BSC in communications from Ohio University and then later secured an MBA degree from Baldwin Wallace University.
Donna Kelce then spent 44 years working at various organizations, starting with a bank called “Bank One,” where she spent 22 years as an equity underwriter at first before moving on to the vice president role.
She then spent the next seven years at a company called “Key Bank” and finally retired as the senior vice president at Truist, where she spent 14 years of her life.
