Zach Wilson Is Not Lisa Wilson’s Only Child
As it turns out, Zach Wilson comes from a large family. The Jets QB has three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Wilson comes from a family of six herself.
She is a devoted mother, having moved to the Big Apple with her husband when her son was drafted by New York.

His parents celebrated their 25th anniversary in March 2023, with Mrs. Wilson penning a heartwarming message to her husband:
“GIVE THANKS. I know I tell a lot of Mike stories. He makes me crazy! But I’m also CRAZY about him. He also absolutely adores me. He makes me feel safe. He makes me be better, even when I don’t like what he has to say. He believed in me and let me build our homes. Together we have raised 6 amazing children. So grateful for this big lug and I wouldn’t trade him for the world.”
Some other things about the family that you may not know are that they are all practicing Mormons, and Mike Wilson is Hawaiian, hence the QB’s middle name, “Kapono.”

Apart from being a loving mom and wife, Wilson is also a successful career woman. She got her bachelor’s degree at the University of Utah. The Wilson matriarch is dabbling in the social media influencer lifestyle as well as balancing her more established careers as a professional chef and personal trainer.
Perhaps keeping so busy has kept Mrs. Wilson so youthful. Fans have noticed the blonde bombshell looks too young to be the mother of a son old enough to be in the NFL. Maybe one day she will tell us her secret.
Social media influence has not always come easy for the Jets quarterback’s mom. Her son’s entry into professional football has not always gone smoothly, and Mrs. Wilson is a mother bear to the max.
Wilson Responds to Week 1 Incident
She most recently spoke out in Week 1 of the 2023 season, when her son was hit in the head with a water bottle that a Jets fan threw.
“That happened after they won the game. Hit him right in the head. Awesome,” she posted, adding a thumbs-up emoji.
Who knows what that fan would have thrown if the Jets had lost the game?

Being the mother of a professional athlete isn’t always easy, but Mrs. Wilson always has her son’s back. It’s a learning curve to adjust to the limelight associated with being the parent of an NFL QB. Mrs. Wilson’s biggest lesson so far? Pick better best friends.
