The 2024 NFL Draft is finally upon us! And with the league’s biggest offseason event finally here, fans can now set their DVRs and alarm clocks in preparation to see their favorite prospects find new homes.

Round 1 will begin with “the Chicago Bears are on the clock,” announced by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell at the podium.
ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network will offer analysis and live picks as continued annual hosts of the event. The league has broadcasted the draft on ESPN since 1980 before ABC, owned by Disney along with ESPN, added a simulcast cable outlet option.
For those who are looking to live-stream the draft, NFL Channel is free and available on Plex among other streaming options. Plex recently added the NFL Channel to ensure they’d have nonstop coverage of the NFL Draft over the next three days.
The NFL Network will be broadcasting the draft for the 18th straight year. In 2006, the network began adding to the live coverage of the highly-anticipated league event.
Where Is the 2024 NFL Draft?
Detroit, Michigan, the home of the 2023 NFC runner-up Lions, will be the host city of this year’s NFL Draft. Downtown Detroit’s Hart Plaza is the site of the draft festivities for all three days.
How Can Fans Claim Their Tickets?
Fans only need to direct themselves to one website to claim their tickets for the draft, should they choose to attend. All they have to do is register for the NFL Draft Experience via nfl.com. From there, fans would have to download the NFL OnePass app.

Unlike Sunday games, the NFL Draft has no designated seating. Fans trying to get close to the podium announcements are in a first-come, first-serve scenario where they have to find a way to get as close as possible to the front of the event.
Turning to the free ticket format allows avid NFL fans to only worry about travel expenses, food items, or purchasing any memorabilia at the site of the draft.
